I drink fat free skim milk if I just want a glass of milk, if I want a cup of tea then I'll use 2% milk.

I eat a lot of it some days, other days I don't really touch it. I just count it like anything else.

I've heard that almonds are the best although I think it depends on your own personal preference. Pistachios and almonds are really good, imo.

The only weird thing I can think of is this sandwich combination I used to have when I was younger. When I would go over to my aunt's house we would make peanut butter-bbq chip sandwiches.

Grams.

Why not add higher calorie foods to your diet such as peanut butter, avocados, trail mix, butter /oil in your cooking, etc? Eating 900 calories a day isn't maintainable for the long run.
-
What are you eating? Are you eating things that aren't satiating? Are you drinking enough water? Maybe try saving calories for around 9pm?

Yes, I lost a lot of weight doing only cardio. Walking, jogging, running, hula hooping, and using the elliptical. I look better when I lift weights and do cardio though so I try to incorporate both.

6 months is a short amount of time to lose 70lbs, imo. I think it would take around 8-9 months?

I'm 5'6" and weight around 121/122lbs, my goal is between 100-115lbs. That's where I'm most comfortable with how I look even though it's a huge range to want to settle in-between. :ohwell: In 2009 I weighed around 150-160lbs. My goal is to get into a regular running and bike riding routine again. Feel free to add me if you…

Yes. I used to eat 0-300 calories a day and not lose weight sometimes. When I started eating around 500-800, I gained weight. Then at 1000-1300 I gained even more. Your metabolism will slow down to accommodate what little amounts you're eating, it did with mine. It obviously won't happen overnight but it can over an…

I skip breakfast most of the time but my first meal of the day is usually cottage cheese with some SF Jell-O mix and berries.
-
Celery, mayo, tofu, cantaloupe, buttermilk, cottage cheese if it doesn't have some sort of SF jell-O in it or protein powder to mask the salty flavor, olives, potato salad, steamed spinach, peas, the white fatty parts of meat (don't mind it cooking off but hate when I bite into something and get a piece of that), mac n…

Bio-X Power Whey and BSN are pretty good. I prefer the texture of BSN over Bio-X, though. It mixes a lot better but it is higher in calories.

I tried an egg substitute and thought it was disgusting. I'd stick with real eggs, they're only 70-80 cals each which isn't all that bad.
-
Some trail mix?
-
I really enjoy Bio-X Power Whey Chocolate Peanut Swirl. It tastes like a milkshake if you mix it with milk. It's even good with just plain water.

I usually roast them with a bit of salt and pepper with some onions and chicken. If you don't like chicken, you could substitute that for whatever else you like.

Bolthouse Farms Raspberry Vinaigrette is 15 calories per tablespoon and their (Light?) Parmesan Caesar Dressing is only 25 calories per tablespoon. I'm sure their other dressings are low calorie and just as tasty but those are the only two I've had recently. Salsa can make a good salad dressing, lemon juice can too.

I eat whole foods 80-90% of the time.

This. Everything in moderation.

I eat quite a few servings of fruit a day, I never worry about it.
-
Ripe mangoes (they should be a bit squishy to the touch), those are amazing.

My tabby cat pretty much eats anything, whatever I'm eating seems to look good to him. If I'm eating it, he wants to eat it, lol. He loves toast with peanut butter (or just plain butter) and sometimes tea.
-
I sometimes put protein powder in vanilla yogurt, occasionally I'll add peanut butter. Most of the time I just drink it with water, it's very tasty. It reminds me of this chocolate milk I used to buy when I was younger.

I've never tried it before but I've been curious about it. What is the taste/texture like?
