I run mornings when the sun is coming up. Hardly anybody out there. I just like that time of day, because I just won't some solitary time. I Don't wear anything too form fitting either, but that's not my thing anyhow. Do what works for you and don't worry about others.

Hi there, I just turned 43 and making another go at losing the weight that I've slowly accumulated through the years. I'm at 105 kilo now (about 230 lbs) and would like to get down to 80-85 kilos (175-185) Wow, so that's a loss of 20 kilo's / 45lbs. I'm 6ft and have a bmi of 31. Measure yourself with a tape measure. Log the results here on MFP. If you are exercising you may be increasing muscle mass, which makes you leaner (=thinner), but weigh more. I have the same thing. Especially when I started lifting. Hang in there.

There's no magic way to lose weight. Less calories in than you need equals weight loss. Shakes may work for a while, but in the end it's not sustainable and the weight more often than not will all come back. This is a journey....eat well!

Exercise and watch what you eat! 35 lbs doesn't seem attainable, but if you firm things up it looks better than flab. Right?

I'm 6 ft and started at 108 kilo/ 238lbs. When I started a little over ta year ago I was doing cardio and lifting weights + watching what I eat. Since there is only so much time in a day, make the most of it. Use the stairs instead of the elevator, walk during your lunch break., park further from the store, do 25 jumping jacks before getting in the shore. When planning an activity, plan some exercise into it. Like instead of going to a movie, go miniature golfing.…

I recently closed my food diary. I just need to do this for me for a little while. I need to honestly log what I'm eating - for me, so I can see where I'm going wrong and try to fix it. for example: Why did I close it and not just post that I ate 6 donuts? Because I don't need the negative comments. I beat myself up enough.

OF course they want to be where you are. In the house I close the door. Me on one side - dogs on the other. Outside I do a lot of walking with our two dogs. But one is old and can't walk too far or fast anymore. So I'm doing C25K with the other so we both get in better shape.

I don't see a down side to pre logging either. I do it all the time. As long as you adjust if things change, then it's an accurate reflection of what you are eating. If I don't log ahead of time I don't always get around to it at all.

I'd like to lose about 50 lbs. I'm on most days and serious about reaching my goal. Sometimes life gets in the way and I'm working to find a way to fit that in to a healthier lifestyle. Anyhow, anyone on here feel free to add me and let work on this together!
