  • Wow, thanks so much for sharing this. I'm starting over - again. It's like you wrote this piece just for me. Thanks again.

  • there are a free apps with all kinds of ideas. But if I'm really pressed for time or on the road I just do some floor exercises like sit ups, push ups, lunges etc. Believe me, they can cause all kinds of burn and give you a real workout.
  • 'The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair' by Joel ****er I'd never heard of it, but my hubs brought it home. So the first 20 pages or so were about a writer that has writer's block, and I'm just thinking man I hope the next 400 pages aren't about his stupid writers block. Long story short.... it's really good! Not going…
  • We house sat this weekend, which is always fun. The house is located in the countryside so lots of woods and fields around, and there is a fireplace. Lovely!
  • I didn't come close to my goal either. But after the first week I'm not so soar and am going to try to up the amount of reps per day and try to get to 1000 by the end of the month. I just keep trying to visualize the muscles I'm creating! Baby steps will get you there, too! :)

  • Copied and saved...sounds delicious!
  • Well it's Friday where I am, which means it's time to log my progress. I've done 119 push ups and 119 sit ups . No where near where I had hoped to be by now. Kinda of feeling like I've been pummeled by Mike Tyson about the shoulders. The sit ups are no problem, but man those push ups are making me so sore. No worries…
  • I'm very excited about the Olympics. Looking forward to being amazed by the brilliant athletes that compete. I'm a big fan of speed skating, so I've actually taken days off work so I can watch it!
  • AnnaLynne McCord - Nicole Potato Sarah Ferguson - Gemalar
  • Obviously being extremely over or underweight is unhealthy. Telling someone who is overweight that they are fat doesn't help instead it makes them feel ashamed or embarrassed. Telling someone they are disgusting that is extremely underweight doesn't help either. Our society is based for a great part on how one looks. So if…
  • Here's another person who got on the wagon, fell off the wagon, got back on the wagon, fell off AGAIN and is back again! I agree that the most important thing is to stay committed to living healthier! Lost a total of 11 kilo's, then put some back on, lost some again, and now here we go again. You get the picture. Just keep…
  • Homemade whole wheat sourdough with flaxseed + light mayo + ham and coffee....of course :)
  • It's awesome to see how much everyone travels! As for me I've been to every state west of the Mississippi + Iowa Canada Mexico Netherlands (where I currently live) Belgium France Germany Luxembourg Spain Switzerland England Austria Poland Czech republic
  • I'm not that fast, maybe 11 minute mile/ 7 min km , and I've only gotten to the 4.2 km. But as I get fitter I'll be able to go further and I'm assuming get a little faster. I'm already excited I can do it and not be in pain everywhere and feel like I'm two breaths away from dying!
  • I really like Hoppin John - it's got black eyed peas and kale ...and a bunch of other stuff. We eat it like a stew without rice or anything. I usually just put some cubed ham through it. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/emeril-lagasse/hoppin-john-recipe.html Love this on a sandwich: ( I use light mayo)…
  • http://www.fitnessrxwomen.com/training/workout-tips-advice/1000-push-ups-in-28-days/ Came across the article online about 1000 push-ups on 28 days, but it would definitely work for lunges as well. That works out to 38 a day. That seems doable, certainly if split up during the day. I'm gonna go for 'boy' push ups - 1000 by…
  • My total for this week is: 3046
  • Well it's Wednesday and I'm here to post my burn since Monday. Drumroll please: 1810 calories!
  • Most things done drunk (or intoxicated) are better when you're sober anyway. If it's meant to be, then the opportunity will come around again If it doesn't, that says enough. Stay true to yourself.
  • For me logging has definitely helped. It's surprising to see how many calories some items have. And we eat them without thinking. Also, the amount of fat in some items is just crazy! With MFP you can work out how many calories a day you need. Then try to make up a meal plan that is well rounded and start logging. It's easy…
  • My goals for 2014 are to finally lose the weight, to get under a bmi of 25 I have to get down under 185lbs. But more importantly to get healthier and stronger. I want to be able to run 5k! I want to make weights a regular part of my routine. I need to make a healthier lifestyle my new style!
  • My challenge is 2500 calories by next Sunday! I'll start counting tomorrow and post back on Wednesday.
  • Looking forward to it! Hope to give and get lots of support and inspiration!
  • Honestly I think the calories are too low. For me it would be very hard to do that for any length of time. some other suggestions would be a little more variation, less processed foods and fruits and veggies. Good luck to you!
  • Oh what not to do with egg plant! I love it grilled (a little olive oil and s+p) and then on a salad or sandwich, cubed it's great through pasta sauce. Sauteed. Pureed. Such good stuff!
  • I'm at about 2.5 km now. I have to eat something before going out for a run in the morning or I get the worst tummy cramps. A banana is what I usually have and that works good for me.
