The only way to lose weight is to eat less and move more. A fad diet will work at first because you restrict calorie intake - thus the weight loss. But can you maintain the diet for the rest of your life? Look to change you diet and lifestyle to something you can stick with and enjoy!

My workouts give me energy! The more I workout the more I want to workout the more energy I have. It's awesome! I do try to make sure that I get all my necessary nutrients and take some supplements - multivitamine and cranberry and folic acid

Started on MFP November 2011 and did pretty good for a few months. Got down to 96.5 kilo from 108. Then I started to get lax...but was able to mantain for months. But at some point I realized I was gaining back the weight I'd fought so hard to lose. So I started at 101 kilo this time. Just logged my first .5 kilo drop, and…

Hi there, I'm with you on this. It's a struggle that I have each day, too. I started more than a year ago and should have lost tons of weight, friends on MFP have lost lots. Very depressing. I fell off the wagon for months last year. I started a new job, then another new job with weird hours. My husband got laid off,…

I don't know why some people have to post negative stuff. No one HAS to post. If you don't agree, disagree nicely. Or else you can always keep it to yourself. Niner, your advice is magical!

Yesterday I was at my local grocery store buying a large bag of Purina dog chow for my loyal pet, Biscuit, the Wonder Dog and was in the checkout line when woman behind me asked if I had a dog. What did she think I had, an elephant? So since I'm retired and have little to do, on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a…

How much are you eating? What is your calorie intake and what are you burning each day? Perhaps you aren't eating enough? I'd suggest adding more food. If your new lifestyle isn't sustainable, you won't keep with it. Better to lose a little slowly than to lose a lot, then quit and gain it all back. good luck to you!
