  • Hi there - count me in
  • I am 6' and my hubby is 6'6". We've been together 12 1/2 years
  • I wear a size 10 or size 11, depending on the brand. I hate how the 'cute shoes' never fit. And forget finding anything in the sales rack! Rrrrr! I also find myself buying a lot of mens shoes...like Van's. How sad is that? At least they are comfy. I'm 6 ft (183cm)
  • Thanks for your response! What you have accomplished is amazing! Keep up the good work - how you feel is much more important than any number. I've chosen a weight goal, but it's not my true goal. I want to be able to run a 5 mile marathon that is coming up. I want to be able to bicycle 30 miles and ENJOY it. I want to eat…
  • I am 6 ft and am aiming for 183 lbs (83k), which will put me at just under 25 BMI. I think this is a reasonable weight for myself and not the lower weights shown in the BMI range of 20 -25. I'm big boned (seriously, not just a excuse) My wrists are 8 inch/ 21cm. Anybody else 'big boned' AND tall?
  • Best diet out there? Don't put it in your mouth. Best exercise out there? just do it! Once I got moving I was amazed by how addicting it becomes. I look for excuses to go bicycling, walking etc. I challenge myself; ie how long can I endure? One more minute? Can I cut my time down by one more minute? I'm not going for quick…
  • Buy it bagged, it's so convenient. Anything you don't use goes in the freezer and you can use it again when you need it. Kale does really well in the freezer. There are quite a few recipes out there with kale - raw and cooked. Best bet to find something you will like is to go to allrecipes.com and search ingredients. I…
  • Since starting MFP I've been more thirsty than normal as well. The only thing I drink anymore is water to quench thirst and I don't have a problem drinking the 8 glasses a day. This is actually thirsty, too, not just feeling like a CoKe thirsty. (which isn't thirsty at all but a sugar buzz) As for me, and I'm just…
  • Very good 'rules of thumb'. Generally speaking, those are the things we should usually try to avoid. Another rule is maybe "pretty much anything you buy from a window". Not everything...
  • To be healthy. It's not about a number. I weighed next to nothing when I was 18 and still didn't think I was good enough. I have to change something in my head. If my body is doing what I ask it to do, with energy to spare, then the weight loss is a byproduct. I want to hike, swim, windsurf and have the energy to do it!…
