Just eat right. Your body detoxes itself. Any over the counter detox aides just waste your money and do nothing for you (well, perhaps you'll get a placebo effect from them). Oh, and drink a TON of water.

I'd search around the forums here for answers. There are varying camps here. Some people swear by them. Others think they're crap (see the episode of Penn and Teller's "Bull****" about it). There's almost no medical literature on the benefits of detox as a whole. But again, some people say it makes them feel better.

MFP tells me to eat 1600 calories. I'm lucky if I manage to get in 1300 a day. I watch my carbs and sodium intake heavily and plan my heals accordingly. 1200 is the magic "do not go below" number. I try to hit 1250-1300.

Do you think that because you are working out SO MUCH that you're not actually eating enough calories?

What most people will tell you is that MFP gives you a pretty small allotment of sugar. I usually will subtract half of the sugars that come from fruits...but I think most people completely disregard them because they are not packaged, processed sugars.

I have these cravings all the time! When that happens, I go to hungry-girl.com and find something that looks decadent but is less than 200 calories and ultra low on fat and then I make that instead! Any diet that lets me eat tiramisu or bread pudding and still loose 9 pounds in under a month from just a few eating habit…
