  • Another thing don't go by your BMR go off of the calorie goal that MFP gives you! Your BMR calories is what it takes to maintain your weight.
  • Depending on your height/weight/age doing a 5k (3.2 mile) walk at a 2.5/3.5mph pace will burn about 500-600 (taken from my HRM). This should allow you the calories for dinner. If your not exercising START there are DVDs out there for under $20, which comes in handy if you don't have a gym membership.
  • I use my HRM for all exercises. MFP, Runkeeper, are off the mark (Runkeeper under and MFP over). Fitbit is pretty close. But you'll never get the right accuracy without a HRM
  • I weighed in at the moment I woke up. 0 clothes. Difference between bathroom and Wii Balance Board is 7 lbs (with the regular scale saying I weigh more).
  • I have to thoroughly concur. If you do not have a heart rate monitor I'm here to tell you, as I do have one, that the calorie burn listed on MyFitnessPal is WAY off the mark for Tae Bo.
