AMEN Furrina, it's so nice to see people like you out these. For the record, Einstein was vegetarian. It's just the greatest lifestyle when done right.

It doesn't come from bones. Sugar is often decolorized through a process that uses bone char. and sugar is then put into soda. Therefore soda is not technically veg.
-
No, you can go do your own research before commenting on a topic u know nothing about.
-
No I was just browsing the site and came across this thread. Of course I had to give my opinion. I feel so strongly about the benefits of the veg diet.
-
No actually they don't because sugar is processed through animal bones.

So you think people become obese from eating spinach, or broccoli, or kale.... um no anyway I'm not even gonna continue arguing my point with you because you're clearly an idiot.

Seriously? you don't even know what my reason is for being here. I'm not even considered overweight if you look at my BMI. I just want to become fitter and improve myself. Am I not entitled to that? Is this place only for meat eaters?

Of course you can become overweight and be vegetarian. I never said you couldn't. Like I said in an earlier post, I could munch down endlessly on chickpeas. and I mean technically I could eat a plate of fries. It's all about choice.
-
I personally don't limit myself on fruits and veggies. These are my beliefs.

No actually it's a combination of all the fast food and low physical activity. Europeans do not eat nearly as much fried food as Americans do. And as for asians, they use small portions of meat for flavour, not as the focal point.
-
Just some advice to u, if you want to lose weight you should reduce your animal consumption and up the fruits and veggies...they wont make u fat, they will make u healthy. You can't argue that.

Just because you are vegan does not mean you're immune to gaining weight. For example i love chickpeas. I could just keep eating them and eating them and they will make me gain weight. However if you look at the stats, vegans/vegetarians have considerable lower rates of heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and have longer…

Yes humans are animals, but the problem here is that we have moved far away from the hunting/gathering and toward a cruel system that exploits and tortures animals for human gain. I am veg myself, but I'm not against hunting/fishing. If you do want to eat meat then go get it yourself, don't go eating your factory farmed…
