I actually kept up with the FRB's (Front Running Btards) in my bike hash group on Sunday. It was a 20 mile course and up until now, I've been toward the back of the pack. I was so stoked!

Running on the track for the first time in months today. I've been dealing with Morton's neuroma in both feet that I'm POSITIVE is associated with carrying too much weight. I did some sprint intervals and felt energized afterwards.

I'll be going on a hash ride (about 12 miles on a mountain bike), and we'll have a keg. I'll have a couple of beers, but I'm gonna enjoy them and not feel guilty. Life's too short to get upset about a couple of beers!

I make sure I eat 3 healthy things (normally some sort of fruit) and if it STILL nags at me, then I'll allow myself a small piece of chocolate. I'll go for a high quality dark chocolate that has a ton of flavor, and really enjoy it.

When I was deployed a few years ago, my coworker would practically chew me out everytime I ate any fruit, carrots, or other "bad" items. I wanted to yell at him to shut the hell up, but he outranked me and I would have been in big trouble. Needless to say, I still lost weight and the sweetness in the fruit kept my sugar…
