If you are a Sleepy Time drinker, you should try Bigelow's version called Sweat Dreams--it's in a royal blue box. I had been drinking Sleepy Time ever since I was a little kid, and then recently my mom told me to try the Bigelows...It's similar to Sleepy Time, but I think it's much better.

The sweetened kind, well, tastes sweet. Best way I could describe it is if you were drinking chocolate milk mix, but vanilla instead of chocolate. That kind of sweet. My kids LOVE when I buy the sweetened vanilla almond milk. They want to drink it all. I almost always buy the unsweetened.

As much as I LOVE greek yogurt, I did NOT like it in the refrigerator oats at all. I really tried to like it, but didn't. Once I omitted the greek yogurt, I increased the milk (I use vanilla unsweetened almond milk) a little bit, and they are MUCH better. I too didn't like the pasty texture, and I did not like the tang…

I am running my first 8K in Minnesota that day too. :-) Just FYI, Target has some nice, thin, fleece lined leggings in their workout apparel section. I think they are about $27. I love mine. I've worn them on nights or mornings when it's been around 25-30 degrees, and they are warm but not TOO warm. Perfect for that…

I am not so sure they would feel the same--in fact, I am pretty sure they are not alike at all...however, maybe just for winter you could change to a different type of shoe?

I just asked this question (well, except for the "similar to Vibrams" part) to a Brooks rep, and they suggested the Brooks Adrenaline GXT...they have a Gortex lining to help keep the feet dry and warm. I might check them out. I already wear Brooks Adrenaline GTS though, and know the shoes work for my feet.

I have read this about walnuts, but not about almonds. Almonds aren't very bitter like walnuts are.

We've had one for about four or five years now. We like it very much. Now it's even more convenient since there are more places that swap out the carbonators. We always keep a refill on hand. The soda mixes taste very good and very similar to the real thing. It's more than paid for itself in our house.

Haha! Love it!

Gallstones can be caused by loosing a lot of weight...that's why gallbladders are routinely removed when people have certain types of bariatric surgeries... I don't think the doctor was placing blame on you though. And it takes some time for the stones to form! That said, I just had my gallbladder removed in June. The…

I always use those flat pretzel chips. Or if I am trying to be really good and not eat a lot, pretzel sticks.

I agree!! Start them out playing football, soccer, and hockey at 3-5 years old (cuz after all, they are all going to be in the NFL, NHL, or World Cup!) , but heaven forbid they lift any weights til after puberty... which my son is turning 15 next week and still isn't in the obvious signs of puberty yet. He does lift, with…

My son is turning 15 next week, is 5'2" and weighs 90 pounds. He's very skinny, but far from under nourished. In fact, his pediatrician said he was at a healthy weight range for his height at his physical in February--and at that time he weighed 86 pounds!! He is super athletic...and at his age, I was built the same…

Don't forget, it's also in acid rain!

You know, if this was actually true that MIO had this ingredient (which it is NOT true), I am sure it wouldn't be allowed to be sold. I mean, REALLY? Do you really think they'd allow anti-freeze, which is deadly, to be used in drink mix?

That's true... I wasn't technically at a running store, but a "foot store" where they analyze your foot and gait. They suggested a Brooks style and although I did not buy them that day, I came home and shopped around and they were pretty much the same price (give or take $1) as at the Foot Solutions store. This weekend…

There's a guy at my gym who constantly walks around looking for someone to talk to. Anybody. If you make eye contact with him, he will get on the machine next to you and just talk...and he rambles on and on and a lot of it is conspiracy theory stuff. And then once he is done rambling on with one person, he walks around…

Is that the "diet" where you have a kinda strange menu for like a week (day one: hard boiled egg, two ounces of tuna, one grape) and then for three days you pig out, and then have the strange meals again for a week? If so, it just does NOT sound healthy or sustainable to me. An overweight co-worker of mine was doing it.…

I had my gallbladder out in June of this year. Except for the first couple weeks after surgery, I haven't had any issues with what I can or cant eat...well, except if I eat a VERY fatty meal, I have some "issues". However, I really shouldn't (and haven't been) eating fat-heavy foods now, anyway. I have not experienced any…

When I went jogging, my Fitbit logged some "stairs I climbed", however, I chalked it up to the couple of hills I jogged up. It senses altitude changes. Likewise, when I went hiking in a very steep hilled area, it logged 42 floors, which I thought was awesome.

It's crazy how much sizes have changed. I am 5'7" and when I was in high school in 1991-1995, I fluctuated between 120-125 and I wore a size 8/10. I was long and lean too---not shapely. My goal weight right now would be 150. I'd LIKE to be in the 140's, but I think 150 is a more realistic goal for me.

We like having this kind of soup in the fall, although it's usually loaded with fat and calories. Will try this!

See, and I bet those eyebrows did wonderful for her self-esteem too! They get so sad when everyone thinks they are so mean and are scared of them!

I am not old enough to have to have one yet, but I went to the doctor with my mom the other day (she took a tumble down her stairs and has a concussion so I had to be with her) and found out that she is 61 and has never had a colonoscopy!!! My bestfriend's mother, like your FIL, just got diagnosed with Stage 4 colon…

Here's Fiona attacking my youngest son. See how scared he is??? And here's Fiona again. Eyebrows make her self-esteem go through the roof!!! Yea, me and my sons were bored one day, and my brother was coming to visit. It took him a few minutes to notice what was different about her. However, he noticed right away…

My "niece", Fiona, is a pitbull, and I have had the pleasure of dog sitting her on and off for the past couple years. In fact, she has been visiting us for over a month now. My brother is a truck driver and he just switched companies, and until he gets his new truck, he doesn't have room for her to ride with him right…

I just posted this SAME thing last night...My thread called "sports bra recommendations?" is on the Exercise & Fitness board...I got a lot of great responses, if you want to check it out.
-
Wow, thanks for all the recommendations! Now I have an idea of some bras to check out. I appreciate all your help!

Hi! I am 5' 6.5" and I have been a size 14 anywhere from around 185 to 200 pounds. I am 198 right now. Anything over 200 though, and the size 14s do NOT fit me, and under 185 I begin sneaking into size 12s. I am what I guess would be described as an "apple" shape.

I LOVE Margaritas and I am always willing to try something new!
