I got mine to sync finally. I had to turn off and restart my Fitbit. That did the trick and it started syncing with both the Fitbit app and MFP. I wonder if Fitbit did some updating recently or something? It's not just a coincidence that so many are having troubles...and so many that own different devices.

Ugh. I came here to see if anyone else was having problems. The Fitbit app (and my desktop at work) is not finding my Fitbit One, suddenly today.

I've been using the AchieveMint desktop site for about three years and it works just fine. You give permission for your Fitbit to sync with AchieveMint, just like it would to other programs like MFP. It's very recent, like in the past few months that AchieveMint came out with the iPhone app and they are working on an app…

Actually, you are mistaking Belviq for another, newer, diet drug called Contrave. Contrave is a combination of Bupropion (brand name Wellbutrin) and naltrexone (a drug to help withdraw from opiates). Belviq is the drug Lorcaserin.

Nancy, didn't even check Amazon yet, but that was my next move if I need to buy a new one.

editorgrrl, No, I have not contacted Fitbit customer service. I've had the Fitbit One for three years and honestly, it's normal wear and tear. I would not feel right asking Fitbit to provide me with a new one. They do have great customer service though. I would just go ahead and buy a new one from their store. I just…

My husband had gastric bypass surgery and he too has to take the B12 injections (he takes one injection, once a month, because his body cannot absorb B12 through foods properly due to surgery). The pain in the butt thing right now is, in our area, the pharmacy has not been able to stock the B12 injections (wondering if…

Not sure about bears, but it does attract miniature schnauzers... I use it as a moisturizer and every time I do, my dog Alice follows me around the house, licking my legs.

They have Smooth Move tea at Target or Walmart in the tea/coffee aisle. When my aunt was visiting recently, we walked by a display and she nudged me and said, "Just in case you ever need to know, that Smooth Move tea works fantastic!" Haha!

Our sidewalks are cement in and around our neighborhood, so I will run on the asphalt because it feels a LOT better on my legs. Sometimes if there is more traffic, I will move to the sidewalk and run along side it in the grass (public roads, not our neighborhood roads--I dont run through people's yards!) until the line of…

There you go...it's probably because they contain caffeine and if you are taking them with more caffeine, it could cause jitters.

Whenever I have taken a multi vitamin on an empty stomach, or a stomach that doesn't have substantial food in it (not just coffee or other beverages, I am talking breakfast), it can make me woozy or nauseous. Are you taking the vitamins with food in your stomach?
-
Did you have too much caffeine?

My heath coach just mentioned this tip to me...she suggested doing it during those times where I am a little busy to log. She said to snap a picture of my meal and log it later, that way I wont forget what I ate!

The fiber in those bars is notorious for causing stomach gas and bloating, but it's interesting that nothing is mentioned about that on the box, even in small print. I remember when the Lay's potato chips with the Olean came out, and there was a disclaimer on those babies saying that if you ate too much of them they could…

Oh...and by the way, my husband does have excess skin on his stomach....that's mainly where he carried his weight, in his belly. If I were him, as a female, I'd want a tummy tuck. Looking at him as the male that he is from my female point of view though, I don't think it looks bad on him as a male... If that makes any…

My husband just had surgery at the end of May. He has lost almost 100 pounds so far and is within 7 pounds of the "upper range" of where the doctor wants his weight to be. He has SOME looser skin now, but nothing that looks "gross" or way out of the ordinary. However, I know someone else who had 200 pounds too lose and she…

Ice, ice, and more ice. Ice that shin. It helps with the inflammation--and so will ibuprofen. I am assuming you are wearing running shoes that are correct for your feet? Also, when I was getting over my shin splints, besides the ice and ibuprofen, I wore leg compression sleeves when I was jogging. That helped them not feel…

This would be awesome. Bet the person would never do it again!

I TOTALLY agree with what you are saying for the most part, and I think people are being polite by asking her to join them for lunch...however, it's crossing a line when someone putting a chicken finger in your face, waves it around, and says"Don't you wish you could get this??" No matter if you are dieting or not, that's…

You can buy it at Fitbit.com, on Amazon, or at stores like BestBuy. Our Target has them, but that might vary by store.

On the treadmill, it will register steps, even if you are at an incline. For fitbit to register flights of stairs, there has to be a certain change of altitude. When you link the fitbit with MFP, you will log all your foods on MFP like normal. You will also want both your Fitbit and MFP set to the same activity level (I…

Also, the Zip doesn't have the rechargeable battery, like the others do. You have to change the battery in the Zip when it's low.

I agree with most everything you said, except I wish ZipFizz wasn't, well, fizzy! Then I would think it tastes as good as Spark. I just don't like the fizz.

Exactly! The gallbladder stores extra bile so that if the liver can't make enough to help digest the food (my surgeon said this happens in the case if you eat a high fat food) the gallbladder will excrete some extra bile. I had my gallbladder out almost exactly a year ago and I haven't gained any weight that can't be…

I love my Brooks Adrenalins.

Yes! And getting fitted has more to do with them telling you what size you wear... they will let you know if you over or under pronate or are a neutral pronator, which will determine what type of sneaker you should be wearing. Also, some brands of shoes have more or less arch support, and when you get fitted they will let…

Yes! A FLUSH! I had the word on the tip of my tongue and couldn't spit it out. Much better word to use for that procedure, than cleanse.

But poop is still IN your system on a "cleanse" in the sense of a "cleanse" that you are talking about.... not the same at all as a laxative drink hours before a colonoscopy. The analogy is just not the same at all. ...btw...I dont think a cleanse, as what you are talking about is a bad thing...but it's also not a…

I could be wrong, but a "cleanse" before a colonoscopy is specifically irradicate your guts out of any poop in a very short time period (usually 24 hours before the test) so they are able to view your colon better... But it's not because your body cannot do itself...
