I agree, this is a generalization. Some of the healthy choice steamers have a good amount of protein! I always try to stick to entrees with meat in them & it works for me (i.e. no mac n chees or fettuccine alfredo)

Pleeeeeeease tell me you are joking about this! Billy Blanks is huge from LIFTING. He doesn't *just* do Tae Bo. Tae Bo alone will make no one bulky!!

I'm SO glad I found this thread! I just used my Ft7 yesterday for the first time. My treadmill takes my weight into account, but nothing else. My HRM showed that I burned about 75% MORE calories that the treadmill showed. I was afraid to believe it! I feel like I need to be in a support group.... "Learning to trust your…

Each day I either bring Chobani Greek yogurt (unsweetened, but I add truvia), or Breakstones cottage doubles as my "main course." Both are 100 calories and a good source of protein. I also bring an assortment of the following: unsweetened (or lite) applesauce, sliced apple, orange, baby carrots, almonds, COCOA almonds…

It's tough to drink enough! Make a conscious effort to bring it with you EVERYWHERE you go. I have a reusable 32 ounce water bottle that I fill in the morning & make a point to drink it all by noon. I fill it up again at noon & drink it all by the time I leave work at 4:30. This way I've already had 64 ounces by the time I…

I'm bored at work & the suspense is killing me LOL.

Good luck! I'm worried about this too. I don't have much to lose now, but I'm thinking (hypothetically) if my husband and I have children, what then!? Definitely going to check out that website when I get home :-)

Well if you're funny, then I'm funny, because I really want my cals to be as accurate as possible. I don't have that many calories to fool around with! 100 calories could mean the difference between me eating "enough" and not eating "enough" (maybe not starvation mode, but my BMR is only 1300). If something seems wrong I…

Medical transcriptionist! <-- This is my passion, I love it! For now, unfortunately, it can only be my "night job." During the day I am a contractor for the United States Air Force doing insurance work at a military treatment facility.

I am in the market for a HRM too :-) For those of you with the Polar FT4, are you able to change the battery yourself? I heard that with some Polar models you have to send it in to the manufacturer to change the battery.

Haha, okay, everyone is telling what TO do here. I'm going to give my 2 cents on what NOT to do. See above! As uncomfortable as you are, taking it to Facebook is NOT a good idea, even with a private message. The guy could genuinely think that he is causing no harm. Talking to his wife about it could cause tons and tons of…

I would increase by a little more, like a previous poster said 1400. Try eating some high fiber foods too. I would suggest trying some oatmeal in the a.m. if you don't already, apples (or more apples) for snacks, and leanleanlean protein (chicken breast FTW)!

Looking great in tight clothes, wearing shorts and a bikini top to wash my car (hollaaa!), and feeling more comfortable with maybe trying to have a baby! Hubby and I are not quite ready, yet, but I know one thing holding my back is my weight. I want to be down to my goal weight BEFORE I decide to add 25++ pounds to it LOL.

I know this may seem repetetive, but I am just one other "success story" in training cats not to claw furniture. First of all, take care of their nails from a young age. Every opportunity you have, touch your cats paws! Pet the bottom, touch the pads while you're holding them/petting them. This will help them to learn that…

Ask them to say house. An American will say "howse" and a Canadian will say "houuse". Same thing with couch, "cowch" or "couuch."
