If I would have only seen this a little earlier, I could have saved myself some calories!! Thanks for sharing, I can't wait to try it out.

I'm a triatlete, I'm signed up for 2 sprints and an olympic distance so far this season.

Goal originally for March was a century but I have 117 miles in so far so I'm upping my game to 3 centuries!
-
I'm in for a century!! Can't wait for better weather so I can get in a few  .

Saucony makes a grea hi vis jacket that's perfect for night running. I also have an armband that has a light on it so people can see me.

Got in 13 miles yesterday for a total of 187.71 for October.
-
Got in 22.65 miles today for a monthly total of 161.71.
-
37.89 miles today 109.12 for October so far, goal is 150 for the month, hmmmm maybe I should re-evaluate.
-
September bike total was 311 miles. Pretty good considering everything going on and I think my goal was 150. Hoping for 150 for October, losing daylight and the weather is getting cooler here. Did 30 today so only 120 left  .

I'm in for 150!!!!

Don't try anything new on race day!!!! Stick with what you know works. You'll want to stay hydrated and grab water when it's offered. I did a Irongirl tri earlier this year and they had the run as an out and back so in the 5k distance you had 2 chances to grab water. Good Luck and Have Fun!!!

I have my first full on November 5th in Savannah, Ga. I've done several halfs but just have never been quite ready to bump it up to the full. I just finished my longest run ever about an hour ago 15 miles, WooHooo!!!! Good luck on your training!!
-
My goal for September is going to be 200 miles. I need to get in more pavement time on my feet for upcoming half and full marathons so I'll have to cut back on the bike a bit. I got in 323 mile for August.
-
YUM!!! Thanks for sharing, I'll have to try these.

I don't think anyone would take offense to it. You're just checking in and encouraging them on their journey. I may be just what they needed to let them know that someone's there on their side especially if they're having a bad day or going through something difficult.

Fruits and veggies are good, they'll keep you full. I usually still log them but am not as concerned with the "portion" size as much. Also, if you're watching a certain area (i.e. carbs) you may want to log them.

One of the most important things is to make sure that you have good running shoes that are fitted for your foot type.If you go to your local running store they'll be able to tell you what you'll need. This will help prevent injury, make it more enjoyable so you'll continue with it. Happy Running :)

I made my July goal of 200 (231 miles). I think I'm going to lower August a little since I need to get in more pavement time on my feet for my marathon. August goal 150 miles.
