I had a personal trainer a few years ago that I only had the opportunity to meet with twice before I had some health issues and then I had to stop. I've become pretty active and have considered becoming a personal trainer myself. I've found that since I've become more active in running and biking I have more people asking…

That's a great goal, I've thought about that myself.

Thanks for sharing. It's so true that it's quicker to lose everything that you've worked towards than the amount of time that it took to get there.

If you can run 3 miles without a problem than the Hal Higdon 12 week schedule for a half is a good training schedule and it does include a 10K.

Go for it!!! This will help keep you motivated through the winter months. I find that if I don't have an event that I'm trianing for it's easier to blow off my runs and "do it tomorrow". Good Luck and Happy Training.

That is soooo AWESOME!!!!!!

Great Job!!!! You can tell a difference!

I log it at circut training.

Sounds Yummy...Did you try entering it in as a recipe? If you do this, it will calculate all of the nutritional information.

Awesome Job!!!!

A lot of what you're seeing in the first week will be water weight. I also started tracking my sodium intake, if you are taking in too much sodium you will retain water. Good Luck!!!!

You're supposed to eat them. MFP already has you set up to lose "x" pounds per week with the calories that you get. If you consistently leave those calories on the table you may be hindering your weight loss. There are a lot of posts out there about eating your exercise calories, if you do a search you'll be amazed at the…

This sounds awesome. I can never decide what kind of pie to have, so I usualyy have them all, this would alleviate that problem.

AWESOME!!!!!! You've been working hard and this is one of the MANY ways that it's paid off for you.

I'm also thinking about doing the same, I'll have to keep checking to see what everyone says. Love your profile pic with Ryan, I met him over the summer.

Good Job, you can really see the difference!!! Keep up all of the good work, it's paying off!!!

Shoes could definately be your problem. Head into a running store where they will be able to suggest the proper shoe for you.

I would go with the nutrional values in Subway's website. If this is somehting that you have frequently, I would just put it under my meals that way you're able to reference back quickly to it and you know the inforamtion will be accurate.

I will wait a day or two then do a short (4-5mile) run.

The first thing that I thought of was sodium. I started tracking my sodium about 2-3 months ago and it really opened my eyes as to how some things that you think are healthy have a TON of sodium in it.

Body Glide will work will for any areas that chaf. I also wear compression shorts when I run to prevent this.

I did my first (and only) tri last August, at that time I relaized in my open water swim that I REALLY need to improve my swim before I do this again  . I'm a pretty avid runner and cyclist and went to the pool for the first time in months last Saturday. I'm hoping that over the winter, I can visit the pool on a…

Lydia- I'm also a runner and I've had the DVD for about 6 weeks now and broke it out of the wrapper this morning. It only takes 20 minutes and wasn't too bad. I've been saying that I need to get back to the weights and this just confirmed it this morning. I think as runner's we have good cardio, are legs and core are…

I would say listen to your body and take a few seconds for your heart rate to go down a little. The more that you do the activity, the quicker your recovery will become and eventually you'll be able to breeze right through it.

AWESOME!!!! I was a 6-8 can a day drinker and I quit almost 2 years ago. I haven't had a soda in almost 2 years and I don't miss it at all.
