1. Its a name...not that big of a deal. If your name is important to you think about that maybe hers is to her. If you want to match, you could have changed yours. I have a friend that got married and her hubby changed his to her last name. If something that trivial is a deal breaker for you then maybe the whole marriage…

Good job talking yourself down! Its hard...I wont lie. Sometimes I have to just busy myself doing something else so I wont cave in. It also helps that I get rid of my clothes as soon as they are too big for me and I refuse to buy bigger ones! I made the mistake of buying a box of baked pita chips recently...once I realized…

Figure out your TDEE...take a 15% cut from that and that should be fine. You are a nursing mom and your body needs more calories and nutrients.
-
If your goal is 1300 you arent meeting that. Just from what I saw quickly you are consistently under calories...by a lot. And no...I am a grad student and have enough peer reviewed articles of my own to look up...I am sure you can find some

I think it evens out. A day or two of under eating won't put you into "starvation mode". I think varying your intake can give your metabolism a boost anyway

Good for you! Getting started is the hardest part!

C 40%, P 40%, and fat 20%....but I like a high protein diet so its all good! I try to stick to complex carbs and the natural carbs from fruits and veggies. Works for me..

Been fat most of my life...it wasnt a secret to me...I was well aware of it. I dont see how pointing out the obvious to me would be a good thing.

I am getting about a 20% cut from TDEE.

Someone told me that was a good place for a beginner to start cycling. My neighborhood is WAY too hilly and it just kills my thighs! Is it very hilly there on that Greenway?

It is a big goal...but one that is very do-able! I am also in grad school and work full-time. The most challenging thing I find right now is to *not* stress eat and to try and make time for exercising. Best of luck to you and feel free to add me if you like!

I like the brown rice and barley blend that is in the freezer section. I always have some in my freezer! I also like the frozen veggie polenta. I saute some shrimps and red/green peppers then stir in the frozen polenta and cook...sooooo yummy!

I am a big fan of cottage cheese and fruit or greek yogurt for breakfast

First off..3 pounds in two weeks is awesome. Thats 1.5 pounds per week which is a great, healthy weight loss. A plateau happens when you are still doing everything "right" and havent lost anything in weeks. And yes, those happen. Happens to me quite frequently  It is hard to really give you any advice because I…

Kudos! Looking good :)

Welcome  A daily walk isnt bad. I know it can be hard to get to a gym. I work full time and I am in grad school so I know what it is like to have no time! Make that walk a little brisker and a little longer when you can. There are a lot of good videos or even check out you tube for exercise videos...those are free…

*crash* What the $%#&@?!?!? I tripped over thin air....weird...

People "bump" a thread when they want to be able to go back to it easily. By bumping the thread it will tag it on your page for easy access.
