Thats not silly at all...awesome NSV!

Welcome! I hope that MFP is as good for you as it has been for me :) Anyone feel free to add me :)
-
You are welcome to add me! My hubby always says I look "fine" and that he doesnt care what I look like. That should make me happy I suppose...but somehow it doesnt. I would like to be some eye candy for him too!

Bwahahaha! Now I dont feel so left out since I have been part of a test creep...thank you!
-
thanks...now this song is totally stuck in my head...

I have to disagree with you here. I have been a nurse for 28 years and you know...I am an excellent nurse. I am very good at what I do...and I am not any better now than I was 100 pounds ago. Hospitals don't do enough to help their employees stay fit in my opinion. Sure, they have all these "get healthy advice"…

That 6 months will fly by before you know it! Congrats :)

I waited until I was about 6 months out. I will occasionally have a glass of wine, but thats about it

I am not sure how far out you are or where your diet is now...but greek yogurt and cottage cheese are great ways to add protein. Also, play with your shakes. I have learned to make some that are so good even my hubby likes to drink them. I am at the point now where I eat most of my protein and usually only have shakes when…

^^^this! I am in San Antonio....love it <3

I didnt think your diary looked too bad. I would pump up the protein and water, that seems to help with fat loss. Also, if aerobics arent your cup of tea, you might consider lifting. I know it seems silly...you want to get smaller, not bigger. But I am learning that building lean muscle actually allows you to burn fat…

I had a small piece of salmon, some sauteed brussel sprouts and some baked spaghetti squash/spinach cheese casserole. And a greek yogurt :)

Sometimes I eat them back...sometimes not. Depends on how hungry I am. Mostly I just use them as some cushion room in case I go over my scheduled allotment.

1/7: 207 (showing my 2 pound holiday weight gain!) 1/14: 205 back down to my lowest weight 1/18: 203 2 pounds down since challenge start

At 9 months out I can count the number of times I have actually thrown up on one hand. I have had some instances where I had pouch pain and "foamies" after eating something that just didnt sit right in there. Anytime that happens I can usually trace it back to eating too quickly and not chewing well enough, or eating…

I log everything....apples and watermelon have calories too. If you eat enough of even low cal foods it adds up.

Looking awesome girl!

Feel free to add me if you like...I am 9 months out!

golden delicious apple sliced up and dipped in PB2...yummy!

Hi back

Just be a good example. Believe me, he knows he needs to lose weight. Telling him what he needs to do wont make it happen. If he sees you being healthy and happy he may start to believe that he can do it also :)

You can do this! That much weight gain in only a week is likely partially from fluid retention. Just keep on with a good eating plan and some exercise and that will fall back off before you know it! Sent you a FR

You should be fine...I flew not too long ago when I was still in a size 20 and I fit. DOnt worry :) Enjoy your flight!

They generally have more muscle mass...and burn calories faster. Thats why lifting encourages weight loss. Women also tend to have wilder hormonal swings that can affect water retention as well.

Concentrate on things that make you feel full. Dont be afraid of protein..its your friend. High protein will keep you feeling full for much longer than carbs. Set your goals to lose 1 pound a week, and dont worry about going over MFP recommendation for protein, they set theirs too low anyway. I find the more simple carbs I…

Personally I am not tattooing anything else until I reach goal. So far they are all surviving ok...but I still have about 70 more pounds to lose and I dont want the dragon on my shoulder to eventually end up on my azz!

Ummm I had surgery...and I have to diet and exercise just as much as everyone else. Unfortunately no surgery allows you to just sit on your butt and watch the fat magically fall off. Just saying...

just walk away from the area very quickly!

I drink it all day long! I use Truvia for sweetner and a tablesppon of sugar free vanilla creamer. One thing that helps is that I use sugar free coffee syrups. My favorite is salted caramel (yummm) adds a wonderfully sweet flavor for no added calories!
