I almost said Hayden Christensen, but then realized I couldn't think of an actual good one. The next one that came to mind was Kevin James who usually just annoys me but did surprisingly well in Hitch.

I'm having the same issue, both on the website and in the app on my phone. I tried logging out and back in just in case, but it didn't seem to help.

I'm in much the same boat and let my weight get away from me. Seeing others walking the same path certainly has helped me in the past, so here's hoping we both succeed.

There's no point in me adding another separate post, but here I am again for round four I think. I just keep losing it, getting distracted / unmotivated, and gaining it all back. I could definitely use some friends to keep me accountable as the bulk of the folks on my current friends list have disappeared from the site as…

Thanks everyone, I was wondering why I'd started getting more friend requests again and hadn't realized this thread had gotten new replies. I wonder why I didn't get notices of activity here.

Chiming in from Virginia, looking for some active friends.

Congrats, Emma! It's great to watch you transition to maintenance as I know I'll be there soon too and look forward to following your example.

Thankfully, it's an "any of these" list, not an "all of these" list. I'm in!

I use it with a drop of dish soap as bait to drown fruit flies. You mean it has other uses too?

Once I started losing weight, and especially once I started running, I suddenly had a harder time finding a sleeping position at night. I typically like sleeping on my side, but my legs and ankles feel bonier now which means I can't find a comfortable position for my legs that doesn't end up hurting after a while.

I officially weigh in on Tuesday. Knowing I'm weighing in early in the week helps keep me in check over the weekend. But Tuesday instead of Monday gives me an opportunity to drink tons of water to flush out any excess sodium I might have had over the weekend. I do weigh daily (when I remember), but use those for tracking…

Yep, I've had great luck with friends from these threads.

Congrats on the NSV, and thank you for reminding me that I may be able to resume giving blood. The last time I was able to give blood successfully was college. The last few times I tried, I couldn't fill the bags fast enough, so they said they couldn't use them. The last time, the nurse suggested it might be related to my…

I think my diary is only open to friends, but I can always use more encouraging friends here on MFP if you're interested.

I'm counting down the pounds until I can say I'm "only" overweight again. Congrats!
-
Yep, I feel the same way.
-
Sure, you can always use more friends.

I haven't gotten any compliments this time around, but when I'd lost 75 lbs in 2012, my favorite was from my boss' boss' boss. He stopped me in the hall one day to congratulate me on my weight loss and then sort of stopped himself and had to check and make sure that I was losing intentionally and not sick or anything. I…

Sure, I can always use extra friends on MFP and I've had good luck with the friend I've gotten from these threads so far.

Finally seeing progress!

Hello, fellow Virginian.

I'm either an orange or a brick, but unfortunately, not a muscular brick.
-
Yep, I had good luck with the last friend I gained from this thread.

There are plenty from growing up, including several from family, but the most recent was from a coworker without saying a single word. I lost 75 lbs back in 2012 and last ran into her when I was near my lowest weight. After regaining all of the weight since then, I ran into her again earlier this year at a work function…

I like the idea, but lack the determination to stick with clean eating so far. You'd just have to kick me out of the group in a week or two for falling off the wagon. :) I wish you luck on finding folks that are interested though.

I lost 75 pounds in 2012, but then I came down with a case of stupid and gained it all back. This time around, I've lost 18 pounds so far and on my way to the original 75 and them some. Like most people have said, it depends on the effort you put into it, but it's an invaluable tool.
-
I'm in a similar position. I lost nearly 75 pounds back in 2012 and since then gained it all back. I've been back on MFP nearly a month now and trying to lose it all again and ensure I keep it off this time. Feel free to add me if you're looking for MFP friends.

That's the "restored" painting of Jesus, right? What's my bonus? Aww, too late.

Both for me. I want to be healthy enough to chase away the boys that get out of line when my daughters get to be teenagers, healthy enough to see all my kids grow into adults, and healthy enough to play with the grand-kids (way) down the line. I probably wasn't going to be around to see all of those things with the path I…
