MFP has me down to have 1200 cals (some class that as a bit low but I'm 5'1" and only have 14lbs left to lose) but I'm not losing weight despite eating healthier, excercising and being in deficit. Thanks for that. At the moment I've been under my allowance cos of the exercising I'm doing, but just as I was about to post them the other day - when I was over - I remembered that I hadn't logged it down, so I actually ended up in credit.

I can't get to a gym, but do have some dumbells, gym ball, resistance band and kettle ball. Are there some exercises that I could do at home that would maybe have the same effect as going to a gym? Thanks

I started exercising last week doing Focus T25, and though I was working really hard, was out of breath, sweating buckets and sometimes couldn't keep up, I wasn't hurting the next day. Does this mean I wasn't working hard enough, cos it sure felt like it?

Thanks to both of you. I do make sure I have a couple of glasses of water before I workout so don't get dehydrated. I guess the amount I'm sweating afterwards is just taking it out of my system so will need to take a few afterwards too. I sooooo love water - not!

If I start drinking 6-8 glasses of water a day (which I haven't been doing), would that help in the meantime, or is that basically long term? Just thinking about weigh ins later on in the week, that's all.

Hiya, I've just completed my first week of T25 too & also from UK and got between 10 and 14lbs to lose. Thanks. Think will see how I go at Alpha then, and if think I'll be able to cope, I might do the Insanity one that has most arm exercises on a couple of days too, cos they're on display more than legs and hips and I'm more conscious of them.

I've done a few days of Insanity and noticed that there are a lot of planks and push ups. Is T25 like this and if not, would you advise that I maybe to a few days a week of Insanity as well as T25 to help tone my arms up?

I've got a stationary bike and do have a bit of resistance on it and can burn approx 400+ cals (according to MFP) per 40 mins, but I do do it at a fast pace. I did the first proper workout today & my son told me afterwards that I looked like I'd just come out of a swimming pool. Hi, I'll join you. I was supposed to start yesterday but didn't have the energy and haven't got time today, so was planning on starting it tomorrow too. I lasted 2 weeks on it in October last year, something came up and never got back into it, so I could do with the support too.
