When I was 300 pounds, I had the same problem. I'm still shocked when I see pictures of myself from then. I never really believed that I looked like that.

I think that there is a lot of good in SNAP, but I also think that there's a decent amount of abuse and waste. Personally, I do think that there should be significant limits on what you can buy through the program. I don't think it should be as restrictive as WIC, but it definitely should move that direction. I drink 3-5 cups per day, but black. I used to drink it with cream and sugar, slowly decreased the sugar until I wasn't using that, and then one day just cut the cream (for the calories). I've considered quitting, but when I've tried, people hate me. :)

I started Couch to 5k last February, and I ran a 5k in April. Since then, I run 5k (distance, not races) 2-3 times per week. I even ran a 5-mile AND a 5k race on Thanksgiving day. I've never done this, or even thought about doing it, but I really don't understand the concern. The hairdryer shouldn't need to be cleaned after this. Now, if he were using your toothbrush to clean them, that would be another story...
