I don't know what the "right" thing is, but my experience is that I have lost 23 lbs. in 8 weeks by eating 200 cals for breakfast, 200 for lunch, and my remaining 840 for dinner and snacks. Something's working, but I don't know if it's "proper" or not.

Tostitos Restaurant-Style tortilla chips have 20 calories per chip and 1 g of fat per chip. Maybe go by that?

Go to her website, type in "nacho-rific chicken," and the second link down (Mexi-something...) has a recipe for a nacho chicken that is un-believable. My husband SO does not love "diet" food, and he didn't even know the difference. It is delicious.

oh, yum. please bumping to my topics!

Agree with everyone above. I just finished Level 1 Day 5. I rested after Day 1 and woke up the day after resting and I was no LESS sore than the day before. So I sucked it up and have done it 4 days in a row, and am doing fine. I'm sore, but a good kind of sore. And, btw, I asked the SAME question as you after the 1st day…
-
@taso42...that is hilarious.

bump to my topics. thanks!!

I just started on Wednesday. Skipped yesterday because I was so sore. Well, this morning I wasn't any less sore so I sucked it up & did it today anyway. Felt fine after. I really didn't want it to turn into 60-Day Shred. LOL

I find that what made my cravings finally stop was quitting drinking diet soda. I don't know if it was the aspartame, or what (I know it wasn't Splenda because I still use that in my coffee), but I have only had water for almost 2 months and I RARELY have cravings. Except for during certain times of the month, and then I…

I wish! I didn't realize you live in Savannah. That is one of my favorite places I've ever been. It's been way too long!

It's really weird, but it seems like I can just go & go & go working out-wise, and not see huge changes. Then I take a day off, eat what I want to, and weigh myself the next morning only to find out I've dropped. Losing weight is crazy, but if something out there worked for everyone I guess there'd be no need for the diet…

I would mix it with Greek yogurt & spice it up cajun-style. You could even grill it into a crab-cake-like pattie.

Just finished on Sunday, and I admit I'm a little bit missing it. I ran 3 miles tonight on the treadmill just "for old times' sake."
-
Sounds great, but how many does it serve? Did I miss that? Because a half-cup of butter has, like, 800 or so calories doesn't it?
-
Wow, I wish I was that close most days! I tend to always go over carbs. I'm a carb-nut, though, as previously noted.
-
ps...plus the carbs in gum are usually sugar alcohol, so nope.
-
Nope. I figure I burn the 5-10 calories by chewing anyway. I just try not to chew more than 2 pieces a day.

I just finished last week. Do you go by the time they give you, because they assume you'll be running 6 mph and for some that's just unrealistic. I jogged at 5.5 mph a lot of the time, and just increased my time, know what I mean?

When I lost weight through low-carb/high protein, most of my calories came from almonds and meat. Low-carb is so effective, but so hard. I feel your pain! Good luck to you!
-
Right. They're estimates. It's just frustrating when you realize you've been using the WRONG estimates, that's all.
-
My Curves book says a cup of grapes has 114 calories and 28 g of carbs. Isn't it so frustrating when you're trying to "get it right" and you can't figure out what "right" is supposed to be??:ohwell:

You know, I quit drinking diet soda on January 12, and without trying any harder than I ever have I've lost weight consistently, and pretty fast, too. Because I don't have the sugar cravings I used to have. I would say it's the aspartame, but some of the yogurt I eat has it and I still don't get the cravings. And I have…

I'm finishing tomorrow. W9D3 here I come! I will be lost without it, but I have 19 lbs. off to show for it. Good luck to all!

So. So. SO. Good.

Right! I had tuna fish today, and it said the serving size was 2 oz., drained, and that there were 2 servings in the can. It was actually 3.4 oz., according to my scale. So in this instance the weight discrepancy was a positive, but I see where it could easily go the other way....where you think you're eating a certain…

With me it's not the motivation to exercise, it's the insatiable hunger. I could literally eat all day. That's my biggest struggle when Aunt Flo comes to visit. It would be nice if she'd leave her darn muffins at home!
