Mmm.... usually, an orange or some smaller fruit, toast (hard to find healthier bread, I personally like Sara Lee calorie reduced bread), one-three egg whites, and a ton of water! Water, it seems, gets me going through the day better than coffee!

I do feel like I'm still fat! I completely understand. I never stop surprising myself when I go for new clothes and it seems I need to now search the isles with the smaller clothing. I usually think it'll be too tight, and it ends up being a bit baggy on me! But it does boost my confidence some, so no harm done!

They're both pretty and happy, why should we say that for some reason one is less attractive than the other? Everyone has the right to feel confident in their body- fat, skinny, and anywhere in between.

Stop the religious measuring, dear! :) Measure your inches, and weigh yourself on the scale once a month. If you did really good that month, the results will show and it is very empowering!

5lbs in a week? I must say, that seems a little... extreme. At my weight I can healthily lose 1lb a week! And according to the math, if I wanted to lose 2 lbs a week I'd be eating 900 cals a day! :P But this journey isn't about weightloss, this is about developing a healthy, fit lifestyle!

^^;; I'm a little too poor for the gym! I think I'd be too discouraged if I went to the gym, anyway, surrounded by people already far ahead of me! I mean, I know generally people are kind and inviting and could share helpful fitness tips, but that doesn't stop my social anxiety!

I like to count my calories per week, not per day. :) This allows me to eat different intakes each day, keeping my metabolism busy! :D I have stopped plateau-ing when I started counting cals/week instead of cals/day. All I can say is... When I start getting out-of-line, I remind myself that I'm working for the end result, not the pleasure I will have for 30 seconds while eating. Eating very little will cause you to lose weight. Guys, this is obvious, plain and simple, it happens. But eating very little is NOT the way to lose weight. I'm sure you guys are smart enough to understand that starving is not a proper weight-loss method.

I have such a hard time even TRYING to move down the scale when I'm bleeding! xD I tend NOT to go up on the scale, but I DON'T move down it, either, no matter how much or how little I'm eating. But I guess it would differ from person to person! But it does seem that our cycles do affect our weight, even temporarily.

I think I'm learning more about what to put into my body, how much of it is too much, and what exercises benefit my health best through MFP. "Points" don't say much. Reading a real label with the sodium content, calories, fiber, etc... it's much better to know. Plus, MFP is free!
