It all depends on the person, but it is quite common. For instance, for me it took 2 weeks before I lost anything, but then when I did, it was 5 pounds. I was drinking a lot more water than I had been before, so it must've been that. Just keep going, it does pay off.

This, for me, is my 'returning first week'. Lost a decent amount in around 2 months, then just went out of control and stopped around a month ago. Now, with the same goals as before, I'm back, and more motivated.

Normally, once every 2-3 days. Sometimes once every 1-2 days, other times twice a day. Randomly for the win.

I have strechmarks on the very tops of my arms, near my shoulders. But that is simply because I lost weight, gained it back (and some) and was left like that for about 3 years. 3 years later, they have faded, but they never go (IF you do get them). I've lost 30 pounds in 2 months, which I consider real weight loss. Looking at myself though, I did not notice that I actually looked different until about a month in. I was quite thin when I was 12, but then we moved into a horrible, horrible area. Out of the entire neighborhood there was only 1 family who were nice, so we bonded with them.
