I've lost 105 pounds in 10 months... it all depends on the calories you eat and the calories you burn. and the more you weigh when you start the faster it will come off, usually.

I just made a black bean protein bar last night, they are amazing and quite filling for the one bar! I am obsessed with Larabars, but I also enjoy making my own healthy snacks, so it really all depends.

I'm 5'6, and currently 140, my ultimate goal weight is now 135. I'd say anywhere between 120-150 is a good goal for this height.

A whole double cheese pizza with bacon and green olives and garlic sauce for dipping, garlic cheese bread on the side and a 6 pack of beer to wash it down... Yum.

It was the Capilano bridge! I went to BC on vacation last summer, I envy the amount of parks you have to run in there!

My shins did hurt a LOT at the beginning. I just took it slow though, and on the days where they hurt too much, I would walk. They really only hurt me for the first month though, so I think just keep at it and the pain will go away eventually. But listen to your body, and don't over do it :)

Hmm, there is a sloppy joe recipe I've made quite a few times. It's 2 ground beef on whole wheat bun sandwiches for 400 calories! That and my smoothies :)

I run anywhere between 20 mins to an hour about 4 times a week. And the days where I don't run, I walk either outside or on the treadmil. Besides the cardio I do sit ups/crunches, push ups, squats and lunges, and I have some 5 and 10 pound weights that I lift about 3 or 4 nights a week. And thank you! :)
