Haha I do the same exact thing!

It depends on what you are looking for. I find ExerBeat to be the most fun. I also enjoy EA Active- though that one feels like a workout! Feel free to message me if you have any questions about either!

To add to it, he is bummed over the decision because he really, really likes me a lot, he "really wants to love me." Again....wtf?? I don't know how I meet these people!

I forgot the Wallflowers. I would post a pic but I have no idea how! :(

Welcome! There are some great supports on this site. I also have autoimmune disease (lupus) so I completely understand the difficulty it adds on some days. Hang in there and good luck. And like everyone else has said- welcome!

Dear Nick. I am an understanding person- more so than most girls you will meet. However, when you TEXT to tell me that you don't think we will work out because you are not in love with me after 4 or 5 dates, I have to say....I find you a bit....hmm...insane. Not to mention you going on about our relationship when we,…

Congrats! I just re-started it yesterday (I had to stop due to moving and lack of time as a result). So today is day 2 of level 1 for me. If you want a good laugh- after Jillian makes a huge deal about how the girls don't cheat, watch the girl doing the harder modifications on the left....makes me laugh when she skimps out…

I worked at an outdoor concert venue in Chicago when I was 16 (good Lord 12 years ago!), so I met a lot. Some of the people I met are: Aerosmith <--- my favorite NSync (I set off fireworks with them and ate brownies with their bodyguard "Tiny") Lit BBMAK Ozzy Counting Crows Blink 182 I am also lucky enough to know the girl…

SAME issue here. I have had two boyfriends pull the double life BS on me now. One guy when I moved away and the other was just a jerk and turned out to be making match.com profiles, etc. I do not trust online dating and I take anything said online by anyone with a grain of salt after them!

Haha I know it drove me nuts before I figured out how to bypass it :-)

You can get rid of the lag time in Exerbeat FYI. You just go to Personal Trainer and set the amount of time you want to workout- no lag time anymore! :-)

I think my favorites out of the games I have tried are EA Active (there are 3 of them) and Exerbeat. I based a lot of those purchases on Amazon.com reviews. I have Wii Fit, but honestly, I'm not a huge fan of it and don't find it to be too fun...but that is just me. I use Exerbeat the most because I forget I am working out…

While the ace inhibitor information is correct, there isn't enough research (what is out there conflicts) to suggest that lisinopril itself causes weight gain or loss
-
I'm a cardiac nurse :-) No- it should not cause weight gain. For people with congestive heart failure, they can make a mix of lisinopril and furosemide to help lose the extra fluid, but that's it as far as weight effects go!

I love my Polar FT60 a lot! You can chose what your goal is (burn fat, maintain fitness, etc.) and it does all of the things you say you are looking for! :-)

I live in Oak Forest, IL (southwest suburbs)- currently I am working on the 30 Day Shred (day 5) in the morning and use a wii game called Exerbeat sometime later in the day which I highly recommend if you are into Wii. It is so much fun and does make you sweat like mad, but you have so much fun you often forget it is a…

I totally agree with the physical therapy suggestion. I have joint issues (lupus and ehlers danlos type 3), so I have to really be careful with my joints. I met a wonderful physical therapist who taught me some basic moves to help me out (mostly tai chi), then suggested where to go from there so my joints are safe (gentle…

You sound just like me- my goal is to lose 35. Feel free to add me :-)

I also have IBS, and was very frustrated with it for months before I started playing with my diet. I now eat gluten free and it made a WORLD of difference. It took some time to adjust and get used to (plus learning what brands taste good, etc.) but it was so worth it. Feel free to message me or add me if you'd like! Good…

I am sooooo excited about this post- thank you! I just started last week, but I am doing just about the same thing as you (cardio on top of 30DS and 1200 cal) and am about the same weight starting as you- and my goal is to lose 35 pounds! So happy to see it is possible :-)

Welcome to MFP! I am pretty new as well, but am here for support if you need it. I am a nurse, so I totally understand what you're going through. I also gained weight in college (I'm graduated and in grad school right now but am finally trying to kick my bum back into shape!). Feel free to add me if you would like!

I agree, a big part of the issue people have is the pain from the gas used to inflate the abdomen during surgery- but the key to getting that to go away is walking. The more you stay idle and in bed/on the couch, the longer it persists! I remember walking being agony the first couple of days! Also to answer the question…
-
Also- they may go easier on your restrictions of the procedure is done via laproscope rather than with one big incision!
-
They typically ask you to wait until a re-check after surgery that is scheduled 2-4 weeks after the surgery itself. Generally speaking, after surgery it is recommended not lift more than a gallon of milk's weight for 3-4 weeks. I know this because I had my gallbladder out earlier this year and I am an intensive care nurse…

There are 3 levels in the 30 Day Shred- 1, 2, and 3. Each has different moves in the circuit. You are supposed to start at Level 1 and as you can tolerate it, move up to level 3. :-)
-
I am currently on day 3. I will say I have noticed that I feel more strength already and that my endurance is improving. No weight loss yet, but from what I read, I am motivated to keep it up and see results. I will say that from other forums on the 30DS, people tend to get the best results when they combine the 30DS with…

I sometimes fall short by about 200-400 calories, too. My newest addition is any of the trailmixes from Trader Joes. A serving has about 200 calories and is 1/4 cup, so it is bearable when you aren't hungry. Hope that helps!

I just started the 30 day Shred today- Level 1 for now! It is definitely a love-hate relationship with Jillian that I am hoping is worth it! I heard that doing extra cardio is a must along with it, so I try to do some every day as well! Good luck, everybody!
