Sparkpeople didn't work for me either. I like it here, it's easy and the people here are friendly and helpful. :) On sparkpeople I lost 2 lbs. On MFP I have lost 15 lbs. MFP has me at 1296 calories per day to lose 2 lbs a week, however I eat about 1500 per day on the days I exercise. My rest days, which are only one per week I try to only consume about 1200 calories.
