Tell him he doesn't have to pay child support for the month.

Ew. Those cookies look disgusting, especially for the price! Now put me on the Mrs. Fields cookie diet and you have a deal!!

Children! Please play nicely!!

It's great advice! Wish I was patient enough and had strong enough will power to do it!

Was worth a shot! I'm new to the world of HRMs, and appreciate everyone's comments! Thanks! :flowerforyou:

I know one reason (among many of course) that obese people don't go to the gym is that they think they're being judged for their weight. And yes, yes they are. But not always in a negative way! If I'm in the gym and there's a 300 pound girl next to me on the elliptical huffing and puffing, I'm judging her in the respect…

To be honest, probably not either =/ The closest you can do is get a heart rate monitor with a strap. One of the best investments I've made (mine was a Polar at around $60) My elliptical machine at home says a I burn TWICE as many as i really do! Hope you find a good balance!

This almost made me cry! I'm sure that was a very tough moment for you, and has played over and over in your mind. I'll share one of my many weight loss embarrassing stories, probably the one that made me re-think things. I started a new school where I didn't really know anyone, and was in fitness p.e. For this class you…

If only you could choose where your fat goes on your body!

Free food is by far my biggest downfall... I swear if I could just shut myself away from the world I would never have a food problem (yes, i know that's no way to live life, but you get the point). And I AM a poor college student, so normally I'm going from day to day on what I can afford and what I can make healthily. But…

It's a new group. Search "Christmas Eve Challenge" and it'll pop up. (should either be a pic of a stomach with a bow or an ornament with a tape measurer)

Current Weight: 172 Goal Weight: 166 11/26: 172 12/3: 12/10: 12/17: 12/24: Goal Non-Scale Victory: To get that "you look amazing! I barely recognized you!" on Christmas, since I haven't seen some family members for a year. Look into the challenges and see which one(s) you would like to try first: #1: I found myself…

Sounds like a great weekend! Just keep getting in those work outs and you should be fine! With my mini pecan pies, I did the estimate to the normal pecan pie piece (that we bought from Sam's Club). And I could have 10 minis instead! Wow-ey! Not that I WOULD of course (I plan on having 5 lol).

First, let me be the bigger person and say that I apoligize if my comments were harsh. That was not my intention. It's obvious that this woman knows that it's just one day a year, she doesn't want to hurt her mother's feelings, and that she needs to keep on track. She already knows that if she gave in, then that would…

I first off want to say that if you're not going to help this woman with REAL advice on getting rid of food pushers (not telling her to give in), then don't reply to this thread. There are some of us who DO work really hard, and plan on keeping in control on that day. And we don't want to have to work extra to get it off…

Don't see why not!

I know the originals are 6.5 g carbs. I would suspect mine are lower, but close?

Haha I popped one in my mouth right when they came out of the oven. Had to stop myself from eating more! I can tell you all now, you'll have to at least double the recipe if you're going to make these for a holiday. Don't think it's possible for anyone to have just one (especially if you mention their calories!)
-
http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/801021--60-calorie-mini-pecan-pies-perfect-for-thanksgiving ^^^^^ highly recommended! And you can have 6 of these for the same as 1 normal piece of pie (estimated of course!)
-
You're welcome! I should also say I made these in less than 30 minutes!
-
Well then that's wonderful for you! I hope you have a great holiday
-
Well I didn't mean to offend anyone by posting this! Of course you're more than welcome to enjoy and partake in whatever you feel you want to! Please don't think I want to ruin anyone's holiday! But I can guarantee that if you make a few smarter decisions you can still have a great time and not feel the guilt the next day!…

1500 calories isn't too shabby! Sounds like you have some great low calorie ideas!

Think mine was like 30 miles? lol

#1 piece of advice: find an exercise you can do, not dread, and can do it more than once! Ex: When I first started to try and lose weight, I tried running on the treadmill. When I couldnt do more than a few minutes, I pretty much gave up. Then I found walking outside, LOVED doing it, put my headphones in, cleared my head,…

You'll get a lot of responses like mine, so I apologize. BUT, you should get a HRM that's going to give you the most accurate response. For example I used to elliptical at a good pace. In one hour I had the results of the elliptical saying I burned 850, MFP 702. Finally got a HRM and at that pace I was ACTUALLY burning…

Thank you! Sorry this pics are so big!

Way to go the all natural way! AMAZING! Kudos!!

You know, when I first "started" I didn't realize I was "starting". I didn't set any goals, didn't have any time references (of course I wanted to be thinner, but just had no idea how to do it so i didnt try). I had actually switched schools. So I was no longer near fast food as much, and was put into fitness P.E, which…

I was under the impression that I had burned this pic, but I recently found it. So 'tis the season! Would need some fake stuffing this year to pull off the above outfit
