stand on a chair and move it further away the easier it becomes

i go to a climbing gym 2-4 times a week, occasionally go for a run and walk my dogs. ive never set foot in a regular gym

I carry a lot of heavy things toolboxes etc.. up and down stairs several times a day but thats not really sneaking. If i dont have much to do I do pull ups hanging from my van and run up and down the stairs. So glad I dont have a desk job!

Il repeat what others have said, that the best way to train for a pull up is to do them. Use a chair and as it gets easier move it further away until just 1 toe is on it. Its exactly the same method im using to try to do a 1 armer. Also, once it gets easier try adding a weight vest/belt. Sounds crazy but when you then try…

Leg raises. Hang from a pull-up bar and slowly raise your legs and lower them in control. I find them a lot better than any sort of crunch or sit-up
