Me too!

Banana's for me too - Although I do eat them on a daily basis because of the potassium, they can be quite high depending on the size :noway:

I keep forgetting that it actually costs money for the race, and then on top of that you usually have to pay for a shirt if I want one...so I won't be doing one till September. I did the last day of "training" today - the 30 minutes, so my plan is to run 2 30 minute sessions next week and then run the full 3.1 on Friday to…

GOTR is an awesome program - that would be fun to do with your girls! I say go for it :)
-
Wow, your wife is awesome!!!! And I'm glad I'm not the only one that doesn't have any plans!! :)
-
I get up at 5 am and run - I hate the heat and the sun, so this is what works for me, lol :)
-
I eat them from time to time - downside is that they are filled with sodium - but I also pair extra veggies with mine as well to help fill me up without a ton of extra calories. The steamable/microwavable veggies are great to use :)

Looks yummy!

Great ideas! Using these for Labor Day camping for sure :)
-
I get up at 5 am (groan) and was running on the track (we live by our high school), but once I had to run 20 min/2 miles straight, I got off of the track and onto the pavement - SO much better!

Unfortunately they are right =/ I invested in a HRM to more accurately track calories burned and manually enter them. MFP and the machines themselves are saying I am burning almost double as to what my HRM tells me.
-
I have the FT7 and I love it! I feel that it calculates the calories accurately. I recommend it!
-
I weigh and measure on Friday mornings :)
-
I still count calories and exercise on the weekends, but I think I do indulge a bit more in fattening/sodium filled foods. I am currently weighing in on Mondays but am going to change to Fridays so I'm not coming off the "weekend-high" of all the food I have eaten, lol - you can do it - don't get discouraged :)
-
The machines were quoting up to double what my HRM reads =/
-
After investing in a HRM (Polar FT7) I have found that both the machines and MFP to be way off. It's worth the investment, especially if you eat back your exercise calories. I was eating calories I didn't earn; was not losing much and since the HRM, I have been losing 1+ lbs/week consistently.
-
If you can, I suggest investing in a HRM at least - it's made a WORLD of difference for me :)
-
Forgot to add: I use the Map My Run app in conjunction with the c25k app to give me distance, total time, etc.
-
I'm on week 2 as well!! Good luck!
-
Add me to the disappointed club! LOL - I just got a HRM too, and it is less than what the machine/MFP says - but I'm glad to know because I was eating back exercise calories that I hadn't burned - so now I rely solely on the HRM.
-
Awesome!!! I just downloaded the app today and will be starting this tomorrow. Way to go :)

I'm glad I'm not alone in this...I gave up all soda (well pop to this Michigander, lol) in January - I drink 1 cup of coffee each morning, and sip on water, sparkling flavored water, or water with Crystal Light-type packets throughout the day, but no where near as much as I should. Thanks for all the ideas on this thread!…

Once a week, on Mondays. I don't even own a scale at home, lol - I use the one in the fitness center at work :)
