c25k for sure! I started off running in April; I could barely make it a half mile without feeling like I was going to die. I did c25k and now run a min of 3 miles 3-4 days a week, and even did a 5 mile run last week. Good luck!!

Awesome info - thanks!!

At her age and weight, the dosage should only be half of the adult dosage, or half of the white part of the cap. Poor thing. Hope you get it all figured out soon!!

I have the Polar FT7 and I love it - everything I've read, you can't go wrong with any of the Polars :)

PB2 is really good - I was a skeptic but it has won me over :)

I agree on all of this! Before I did the c25k, I could barely run a quarter mile - now I run 2-3 miles 3-4 days a week :) And definitely good shoes, but you don't have to spend a ton of money on them either. Good luck!

I worried because I bought running shorts, which are a lot shorter than shorts I normally wear. I would apologize in my head when people drove by for my floppy white legs, lol - then I thought to myself, at least I'm trying to make them not so floppy anymore! So I just don't care now, haha

I tend to - and MFP encourages you to - this is under your nutritional goals on the settings tab  "*Net calories consumed = total calories consumed - exercise calories burned. So the more you exercise, the more you can eat!"

That's amazing!!!! Way to go

Exactly! But all my "runner" friends seem to think I HAVE to run one, lol -

That's my goal per week - and that's my pace - glad I'm not the only one :)

I agree 100%! I am on week 9, planning on doing my 5k at the end of this week. I am still slow, but I am running at a consistent pace and not stopping so it's a huge accomplishment to me! You can do it!
