  • Mince some onions and asparagus, sautee for 5 minutes. Add to mixture of goat cheese, parmesan, S&P, garlic. Make a slit in your chop, stuff with the aparagus goat cheese, sear on each side then finish off in the oven. I'm making this tomorrow :drinker:
  • I'm making turkey chili right now... will make for a quick and healthy lunch during the week. I also prepared some stir-fry veggies to eat with rice noodles. I usually prepare different things on sunday so it's all ready for the week.
  • I'm making chicken parmesan tonight, with a nice salad and chocolate cupcake for dessert. Butterfly a chicken breast, pound it lightly...then dip in flour, egg, and bread crum mixter (mixed with parmesan cheese). Spray on both sides with Pam and bake for 25 minutes, add sauce and cheese bake and additional 5-10 minutes.
  • Always have fruits for breakfast and snacks, and lettuce, tomatoe and cucumber for salads. Then I make a weekly menu and buy according to that. I try to use ingredients in more than one recipe to make sure I don't waste food. I make/use recipe cards and but them in a basket in my kitchen. If hubby gets home before me he…
  • I'm always like that when TOM is about to drop by for a visit.
  • I take a B-100 complex. It's definitely not a diet pill but I find it helps with my energy levels throughout the day, but yet again it might just be in my head.
  • I have an 18 month old... busy but committed. Feel free to add me.
  • Welcome, this is a great place for support. You can add me... and my diary is open.
  • tuna loin... marinate for 30 minutes or so in soy sauce (diluted with water), lime, orange, garlic, ginger, scallions mashed in olive oil, and pepper. Then grill or pan fry on super hot surface for just a few minutes (should still be raw imside). Delicious with oysters on the half shell. Yummm...that will be my supper on…
  • just grill the chicken... when it's done put the goat cheese and put it on broil in the oven just for 2-3 minutes to get the cheese nice and bubbly.
  • my favorite quick healthy meal is grilled chicken breast, topped with a little goat cheese (mixed with garlic and chipotle) and broiled until bubbly. Served with a side of roasted veggies and rice, or a salad.
  • I see a cholesterol specialist since I've had high numbers since I was a kid. My father's side of the family is hugely affected by heart disease. My specialist said that eggs can be incorporated into a healthy daily diet, however, those that have histories of high cholesterol, cardiovascular disease, or diabetes should…
  • I think it's wonderful that you are feeling amazing and I wish you all the best. This feeling you have leads to more self motivation along the way so keep it up. You may have some down times obviously but always remember how you felt when you started this thread... it will remind you of what you are able to accomplish. My…
  • I haven't had a seperate account in years... everything is joint. I make more money in the household but I'm awful with finances so it works for us. I know many couples who have things seperately and that works for them. I think you need to find some common ground... perhaps keep seperate accounts for personal stuff but…
  • looks good...but frozen dinners all week? I would go nuts! I take alot of my recipes from skinnytaste.com and plan my weekly meals accordingly... that is usually the basis for my grocery list (and depends on weekly sale flyers). I only shop once a week. Always on my lists are fruits, veggies, yogurt, milk, eggs, bread...…
  • Don't know yet since DH is planning it for tonight. Tomorrow we are having Peruvian Roasted Chicken (check out skinnytaste.com) with a avocado salad and beans.

  • I think all this negative energy should be put to better use... if I had that much I'd probably go out for a run. That being said, your question is all relative to how people see themselves. If you feel great at 250 that's awesome. If someone at the same weight feels disgusted with themselves and feel they need to lose…
  • grilled chicken breast (halved or butterflied), topped with chipotle/garlic goat cheese, with roasted potatoes and asparagus. Yummmm... will go great with wine also!
  • chicken lettuce wraps... boiled chicken breast, onion & red pepper cooked in a bunch of spices, salsa, sourcream, a bit of cheese... all wrapped in a leaf or romain lettuce.
  • Ouch! Sorry to hear that. My husband doesn't do much cooking at our house. But recently I've been working a bit later so I give him intructions to start the meal and he's doing really great and I make sure to tell him. Especially since he thinks he's not very good at it. With men I find a little encouragment goes a long…
  • just salt, pepper and garlic. I make mine as a lasagna. 1. Halve it and roast flesh side down (at 400 for about 40 minutes) 2. Remove the inside with a fork (should look just like spaghetti) 3. Once you have the flesh removed... layer with tomatoe sauce, squash, sauce, cottage cheese (or ricotta) with parmesan, (can also…
  • Have you tried fresh tuna? Some people don't like the taste of white flaky fish, or fish like salmon or trout, but they enjoy tuna. It has a completely different taste than other fish. A little on the expensive side, but they do go on sale once in a while. It they only way my 9-year old niece will eat fish! I have a great…
  • same boat...have lost 45 so far. I'll senf you a request.
  • I only log food prep and cleaning if I do at least 1.5 hours straight... then I'll log for only half that time to account for overestimates on MFP. So If I do 1 hour of cleaning, I'll log 30 minutes of light cleaning. Most of the time it only happens on weekends when we run around the house cleaning and cooking... my…
