Give him the best night ever, then kick him to the curb and tell him it wasn't good enough!

corn salad. Grill up some corn on the cob and other veggies (onion, green and red pepper, asparagus). Remove kernels from the cob and cut up other veggies in small pieces (size similar to the kernels). Add olive oil, garlic, lemon, S&P and your choice of spices. I use chili or chipotle, and tumeric. Can be served at room…

I don't think I've ever seen any of these :ohwell: ...and yes my husband would be ashamed :blushing:

I suggest you talk to your doctor.

Actually, the harshest penalty in Canada is life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years... and it does not mean that parole will be granted.

My suggestion... check out skinnytaste.com and ask your mom to pick a few recipes from there. She would have some say in what you're making and you'll get to eat healthier.

Try adding roasted butternut squash to your mashed potatoes... say 50/50. It cuts the calories by about half and I bet your family won't even notice (maybe start with 1/4 squash, 3/4 potatoes and gradually increase). It adds a buttery and nutty flavour... super delicious. The best thing is you can roast your squash, mash…

sexy and I know it... like in the m&ms commercial. It's awesome and keeps my pace up at maximum.

Don't overdo it? I wouldn't say that striving to drink 8 cups a day is over doing it. This article makes me shake my head... all but three references to support his idea that the recommended 8x8 is a myth? I agree there is no hard evidence to support the 8x8 but it is a supported recommendation by health organizations…

Homemade soup. My favorites are cream of asparagus and red thai curry. Both my versions are low calorie, low fat, healthy and delicious. For the asparagus soup, sautee (in butter or olive oil) 1 large onion, 1 bunch of asparagus and 3-4 celery stalks. Add chicken broth (whole box) and simmer until tender (add water if not…

you can also try something a little different... and super tasty. I chop my tomatoes in chunks, add chopped onions, mix in a bit of olive oil, baslamic vinegar, garlic, and S&P. Place on baking sheet and roast for 30-40 minutes at 375-400. Then mash or puree. Makes a great sauce!

Thai-style soup. Saute veggies (onions, carrots, red pepper and other leftovers like green beans, asparagus, etc.) in a bit of oil (or butter). Add spices (curry, cumin, corriander, tumeric, chili powder), then add chicken or veg broth... simmer until tender. Blend (blender or processor) until smooth, return to pot, add…

You can add me... I try to support as much as I can.

First I just want to say I don't eat much processed food... I love to experiment in the kitchen to much for that. But, be careful how you approach this subject. So processed food is not considered healthy, but neither is being 100lbs+ overweight. Some may be drinking the crystal light instead of the litre of pepsi. Some…

I think you're the one who needs to deflate his ego!

Also wanted to ask what all those quick added calories are on your diary? When I complete my diary I like to see where I'm at for Carbs, Protein, Fat and Sodium. I can pretty much judge from those intake if I will see a loss or not at weigh in. If I constantly go over in Carbs and Sodium forget about it! :noway: Sodium is…

Don't be discouraged if you don't see a difference right away. Your body will need time to adjust. You may go up a few pounds before you start loosing again.

This! And call the cable company and find a way to cancel the account that's in your name... do it as soon as you can.
-
Go to setting on the top right corner of your screen... then click on diary setting. Scroll down and click on your preferred setting.
-
You should really open your diary if you want others to provide constructive feedback.

I like the workout and really feel it afterwards... but I have to say that JM really annoys me. She just talks too much... but maybe it's just me. I found myself yelling at her yesterday

Actually... you do need to watch for the cholesterol. I've suffered from high cholesterol have all my life and I'm currently seeing a specialist. For those with zero cholesterol problems, by all means eat up. But if you have issues or are predisposed to some, eat in moderation.

Shouldn't you ask yourself what you contributed to cause her though love response? From your profile it appears you joined in january of this year and you already have something close to 300 posts... in many of the recent ones you seem to be frustrated with your progress, but at the same time perhaps not taking the advice…

This! I agree that $5 dollars is steep.
