I keep mine private but 100% log in everything. If ive gone over my calories I often say why as a status or comment. I wouldn't lie as I would only be fooling myself. I don't feel the need to share what I eat, I only record it on here so I can manage my calorie intake and understand what I'm eating and keep myself on…

Yes it is I usually lose between 7-10 pounds the first week of any diet I start. It gradually slows down for me which is when its much harder to not feel discouraged. This site will help keep you motivated though :)

Welcome, I've only been here a few weeks and I love it, its really helped me think about what Im eating and the support of others is really motivating. Im really pleased I started this time of year. Its so easy to say u will start in january but if you feel ready why wait. Good luck :)

I probably will but it will be a kind of day off so I certainly won't be worried if I go over. I would be interesting to see how much i end up eating.I'm hoping my appetite has shrunk a bit so I naturally dont wont to eat as much as i did before.

I never log housework or general day to day activities. I just calculate what additional exercise I do like the gym or a work out class as thats in addition to my normal routine. I guess it depends on the individual and as said above what you set your profile at.

I've added you guys. Its good to have people working towards similar goals such as getting married. Im finally focusing on this weight loss and the wedding is definately a real motivator, also the honey moon. Would love to look back at all the photos and be happy with who I am and how I look

Congratulations thats fantastic. Im doing this as also engaged and getting married in August. i have put on quite a lot of weight over the last few years and want to slim down for the wedding. Good luck, Im sure you will be fine. The wedding day is definately motivating :)

I have to check the scales each day first thing in the morning. I sometimes check the night before to try and get an idea of what my weight might be in the morning. I follow a wheat free diet as wheat intolerant. You do get used to it. I started eating lots of pure foods rather than processed. Im also starting again. I have tried several times before and been successful but then it always goes wrong, however a minor health scare plus getting married are my new motivators. Good luck to you Im sure u will be great x
