  • Hi mljenson I have not had a normal cycle since I started my periods. I can go for months without one (anything up to 8 months) and then I can go for few months of having monthly cycles. I have tried tracking and have a range of apps to help me but they are just so irregular it is impossible. I think my first pregnancy was…

  • Hi I am 29 and I recently found out I have PCOS although I have suspected it for a while now. I am desperately trying to control my weight but I am finding it really difficult. We have been trying for a baby for quite some time now. I did fall pregnant 2 years ago but unfortunately discovered I had miscarried at the 12…

  • Thank you everyone I'm overwhelmed with all the supportive comments and inbox messages. It's surprising how alone you feel yet so many people have experienced this. People I know are trying to be supportive however their comments often hurt more. I am trying to be forgiving of that as like some of you say they just don't…

  • You could start doing some more family activities like bike riding or hiking so the focus is not just on him. You could make out its for your benefit and not his. In terms of his diet, you could start making slight changes to the food he is eating (especially if you are cooking his dinners) such as a few more veggies per…
  • Wraps are a great alternative to sandwiches and I find less cals too. Bring fruit with you to snack on. Perhaps porridge first thing in the morning before you leave, that will keep you going for longer. Carry a bottle of water with you so you can sip that throughout the day to keep you hydrated and help hunger pangs. Snack…
  • I agree with the above. I was suffering terrible headaches. I had cut down majorly on caffeine and also sugary snacks so I was probably suffering from withdrawal. It does get better. Drink plenty of water throughout the day, it really helped me. I try to avoid taking painkillers and have found that making sure I'm hydrated…

I'm just under 5 ft so seeing your pic at your current weight has really helped me as thats my goal. If I reached it and look as good as you do I would be so happy. Again thank you :)
  • I have micro porridge oats with 150ml of skimmed milk. I sprinkle a bit a cinnamon to it to give a bit of extra flavour. It keeps you full until lunch and is about 160kcal so not bad :)

  • HI Im getting married in august. How much are you planning on losing. Im looking to lose at least 60lbs :)
  • I would just accept that I had a bad day and carry on the following day as normal. I would perhaps push myself a bit more with exercise so maybe over the week it balances out. Don't restrict too much to make up for it as your body will go into starvation mode. However you deal with it just don't worry about it we all have…
  • Well done. I can't wait to be out of the obese category. You have done really well :)

  • Im 5ft exactly and currently weigh in at 180lb, Ideally I would like to be 112lb by august this year but would settle for 126lb. This is for my august wedding.
  • Im aiming to weigh in only once a week which will be Monday but as its still early days and to keep me on track I weigh in twice a week as also on a Thursday. I do weigh myself everyday though but just track on these days.
