  • Log in the base ingredients of your salad and save it as a Meal or Recipe. That way you can quickly add it when you need to.
  • THIS! Been using the Vivosmart since it came out. There has been little love for us Garmin Connect user. Time to get it! Mine:TwoNinetyTwo Requests sent to everyone above me. :-)
  • It isn't like you get some special magic power just because something is sufficiently important to you. You don't get more energy, your cells don't metabolize faster, and your choices don't become easier. If anything, it causes more stress and keeps me awake at night, both of which are counterproductive to weight loss.…
  • God I feel this. I am the same way. Up - Down - Up - Down. It never fails and advice like "Identify why you self-destruct" just doesn't cut it. I KNOW why I self destruct. I LOVE food. I LOVE rest. I HATE cooking. I HATE exercise. It is a toxic combination that I honestly do not know how to overcome. I've seen…
  • That is fantastic. I love seeing stuff like this. I cannot wait until I get lose 20! Thanks for sharing.
  • Yea, I wouldn't say it is a magic ingredient either, but I would say it is an overlooked one by most. I don't think people realize how crucial water is for us. If you are dehydrated, your kidneys, liver, nutrient transport, everything works inefficiently. A fat person needs their systems running as best as possible. They…
  • Well, if you want to stick with facts one needs to accept that water is critical to Cellular Respiration, whose rate of which is the definition of Metabolism (Metabolic Rate). For cells to create ATP (Energy), they need H2O (Both for the Oxygen and the Hydrogen). Too little water and the rate of Cellular Respiration…
  • I am just trying to drink a gallon of water each day. Feel like a water balloon most of the day. Slosh-slosh. :-)
  • I like friends!

  • I am 42 year old male recovering food addict. My Wii Fit age is 27 and I like kittens, so I am always a good source of motivation and support!
  • If someone is being hurtful, report them. MFP does not want bullies on their platform. Also, here in the US online bullying is a criminal offense. Be assertive and protect yourself, your friends, and MFP.
  • I remember college: from the Freshman Fifteen to the Senior Sixty. Good times. :) Welcome back, again!
  • You can't write a headline like that without following up with all the juicy, greasy, stringy details! If I can live through you, I won't need to eat a pizza myself. Was it a thin crust? Deep dish? I must know!
  • The sun is coming. The days are getting longer. Yea, Spring is the perfect time for new beginnings, new starts, and a new you!
  • Time to work on the upper body! Give yourself some shoulders and pecks.
  • Okay! Five, but soon to be 50. :-)

  • Mercy! I am the same way. Like an alcoholic working in a brewery. I sometimes I think the only answer is to pretend I am werewolf and chain myself to a wall in the basement just to I survive the binges. The only problem is I don't have a basement - or chains for that matter.
  • Sometimes all it takes is one step. Find one of the no-nos in your kitchen and throw it out. Just chuck it. That is a start. Keep that mindset your muscle memory will kick in. Looking at your profile, you know exactly what needs to be done. In the wise words of Yoda, "There is no try; only do." Cheers!
  • Feelings are fleeting. Thankfully fat can be too!
  • I got this way because I am addicted to food. I love it. I am the kind who will lick the inside of a fruit pie wrapper, even though whatever preprocessed crust crumb I might gleen will not have any taste or value. I just can't help myself. Well, maybe now I can help myself and others. I've sent requests to…
  • I am in love with their Butternut Squash soup. It weighs in at a relatively svelte 90 calories per cup. Here is a list of 67 ways to spruce it up into a meal. I am going to try adding shrimp, chicken or good 'ole mushrooms. http://www.chow.com/food-news/157573/hacks-for-trader-joe-s-butternut-squash-soup Cheers!
  • Does the Fusion sync its steps with MFP?
  • Note that only a couple brands of fitness trackers will sync Step counts with MFP. Others, like the Garmin lineup, will only sync Calorie adjustments.
  • To add to this thread, the new FitBit Charge HR does not do notifications from your phone. It only supports Caller ID. No email, no texts, no nothing. The FitBit Surge will support more notifications, although it seems to be much wider than normal wrist work fitness trackers. However, FitBit seems to be one of only two…
  • Some people cannot apparently walk and chew gum at the same time.

Feel free to read all 33 pages…
  • I think you are just trolling.
  • Yes, I am dead serious. You and some other ignorant commentators may not realize it, but in the process of preparing most common fast food, ADDITIVES are, well, added. Sure, these chemicals and compounds can be found in other elements of nature, but not in quantities or more importantly the combinations that they are in…
  • Seriously? Or are you just being sarcastic?
