Weight loss is just weird. I know when I have my period I do not lose any weight that week. I guess there could be lots of factors. Maybe since you mixed up your calorie intake it had a positive effect :)

Do you weigh your food? Do you eat more than you should? Could you be over estimating calories burnt? Have you used a tdee calculator to give you a guide of how many calories to burn/eat Open your food diary if you want advice :)

I never said it was better. I said if she was going to do it, do it properly as skipping things out would cause deficits in a balanced diet. I think it works when you stick to it as I have done it before. It is not a crock of ****, people only say things like that when they can't handle something. You lose weight fast if you stick to it and do exercise. I lost 25 kg last time I did it a few years ago. It is hard because bascially you don't eat **** food on it…

unfortunately you can't expect people to suport you who don't want to. cant you catch a bus to the gym or exercise at home? and also shop in advance, just because other people are eating junk food doesn't mean you have to. it all basically comes down to you and your own willpower.

Yoga strengthens you core muscles and stretches your muscles, while alone it won't cause weight loss, but with cardio it will help. Yoga in my opinion is more about body awareness and meditation for stress. So in saying that, helping decrease your stress will help with weight loss.
