I had a metabolic assessment done this week, because I was tired of all the guessing on formulas and calculations. It was determined my resting metabolic rate is only 907!!! I have a very slow metabolism as I suspected. I do work out, so I have to eat those exercise calories to be able to eat more each day!

I tried the more calories too and I kept gaining. I had a metabolic assessment done (New leaf fitness equipment) and found out my resting metabolic rate is 907, add on my desk job I am at 1179 calories a day I burn. So I have a very low metabolism. So I am working with the person who did my testing to build my RMR back up.…

Found this post. I had a resting metabolic test done and my results were 907 I burn sitting still all day. Add on my desk job during the day and I am at 1179 a day. I knew I had a low metabolism, which is why when I tried the whole eat more to lose I was gaining. It is good for me to have actual data now on my body. I did…

I am so glad I found this post. After 6 weeks of eating more and not losing anything I have decided that my body only likes to lose on less calories. As said in previous posts everyone's bodies are different. I am ok on 1200 cals, I feel full and satisified with clean eating of 1200 calories.

I see no one responded to this thread. I was searching for previous yoyo dieters. I am one of those past yo yo dieters who did very low cal diets and would always lose. Now I am trying to lose again the right way and not having the luck I wanted. I feel like my clothes are getting looser, but scale has not budged much yet.…

I am a scale aholic and I too have not lost anything since the beginning of Janaury, but I feel like my clothes are looser. I have been working out 5-6 times a week, and have had some cheat days. I am trying to avoid the scale, but it is really hard to get away from! Best of luck in your journey!

Was searching Kashi cereal and found this thread. I have been experiencing bad stomach cramping late afternoons when I have eaten Kashi cereal in the morning. I just thought maybe my belly didnt like the fiber. I now see there are issues with Kashi cereal so I won't be eating it anymore. Just wish I would have read this…

I used to work full time and go to school at night so I had no time for exercising and did not really pay attention to what I was eating. After I finished grad school I ended up lopsing 85 pounds! Of course since 2008 when I lost that I have put some back on and taken it back of a couple of times (ok alot of times.....).…
