I use coconut milk (a lot!) and almond milk as my dairy substitutes. Before almond milk was available, I would make my own. Grind almonds down to a paste and add water to adjust its thickness. Didn't know about the goat products, so I'll check that out.

I use the GNC Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60 Protein powder. The package says that a serving size is 3 scoops, but the calorie count is wicked high. So, I only use 1 scoop in my smoothies after I workout and it's just under 100 calories. It comes in a bunch of flavors, but I like the chocolate the best.

My favorite healthy cookbooks are: The Whole LIfe Nutrition Cookbook, Clean Food and Clean Start. The last two cook books are broken down by season and focuses on whole foods and buying/eating local.
