I try to find a chain restaurant that offers something similar and base it off of that. I also tend towards estimating high and make sure that I exercise any day that I'm going to eat something that I can't be 100% sure of the calorie count.

chinese buffet...I miss chinese food but I don't trust myself to go into a chinese restaurant.

I will be tracking everything and will stay as close to my calorie goal as possible, but I'm not going to overly stress it. I will have two Thanksgiving dinners since we eat with my family and the in-laws, so I'll just make the best decisions that I can.

I felt tired for awhile - maybe as much as 3 weeks(?) - but it will get better. I was a big time diet soda drinker, so I'm pretty sure I had a major caffiene addiction, and it was no fun at all quitting, but I feel so much better since I did.

I'm interested to see what those who are closer to or at goal have to say. I am the same way, waist sits between two rolls. I've went from a size 30w to a size 20/22w but I constantly look like I have muffin top, even when wearing jeans that are too big due to the upper roll on my stomach. :grumble:

Log everything, even if it's not healthy, even if you're over goal, even if you can't find an exact match. Your best guess is better than nothing. Give yourself permission to start slow. An "all or nothing" attitude is just setting yourself up for failure because no one can be perfect with eating/exercise all the time.…

I definitely have this, although it's a LOT better at 247 than it was at 340. I'm hoping that it will get a lot better after another 50-60 pounds.

I started at 340 and it killed me to walk for 20 minutes at 2 mph. Tonight I with my kids in our downtown area for "witches walk" (trick or treating at downtown businesses) and then came home and got on my treadmill for 30 minutes of couch to 5K. I used to get upset about how long it would take me to lose all the weight that I need to lose. Ideally, I need to lose at least 200 total, and that will only get me to the very top of the healthy BMI range. I finally realized that time moves on whether I'm working towards my goals or not. I could've kept wasting time…

I will never manager to wear the same thing every time, naked is consistent. Also, if I have on clothes, I will easily convince myself that *I* didn't gain, I just have on heavier clothes today.

Yes, the tests turn positive after awhile or at least they can, which is why you shouldn't read it after awhile. But if you are really not sure, go to a doctor.
