Hi, I used to wonder the same thing until it happened to me. People are just different and handle things in different ways. I have always wondered how ppl could starve themselves. Even wished I could at one point if it would have helped me lose something. I still can't explain it for everyone, but with me it was just plain…

Nope, not crazy at all. Halloween comes on the same day every year and I know I will want to dress up, but it seems to slip up on me every time. Great way to plan ahead and and stay motivated. Good Luck!!!!

Great topic Op! Really funny comments. Funny things you do when you have scale madness. I have tried most them all, lol.

Wowww!!! I started at 316 at the beginning of May and I know there are days that I could've done a little better, but seeing your results makes me feel like I didn't do a thing, lol. Amazing representation of what can be done in a little over 6 months.

Thanx, interesting!

OMG this happens to me. I never thought to look it up because I didn't think it was a big deal. I probably eat too many carbs though. I want more information now :)

I don't understand why some are being so sensitive. This was funny. I used to laugh at the diet coke drinkers with junk on the side, but now that I'm keeping a record of my intake, I now understand. Even during my so called off days, I'm rough calculating. BTW, pizza is my weakness and when I treat myself, I get the real…

I agree

I experienced the same difference. The wii board didn't believe it was me when I moved it to the bare floor, lol. I'm not worried about the number because I'm consistently losing, but I can at least prepare myself for a slightly higher number when I go for a Dr's visit.

I can't believe so many ppl have admitted to hiding behind the extra weight. I did this for years. For me, it wasn't that I didn't know how to lose the weight. Thinking about the outcome of losing weight (more attention and responsibility to keep up a healthy lifestyle) is what helped me to procrastinate. This is a post…

Wow!!! :drinker: I don't have enough calories for a drink, but I can hold up my cup. WTG!

I agree, being called African American is not offensive for me. It is not accurate. I feel that everyone should be proud of their history and learn as much as he/she can. Black Americans and African Americans are very different culturally. I am a Black American who envy's the culture of African people, but the relation is…

Love it, I want to take after pic just like yours when I'm there.

Just take it one day at a time. I do think about my ultimate goal of losing 100lbs, but I don't think about the scale during the week. I only focus on eating healthier and trying to stay under my calorie goal. I had really bad lower back pains before I started MFP. It was hard for me to make the short distance to my car…

LOL, that's me.

Before I started to lose weight I never asked anyone what I needed to do. The information is not hard to find. I just did not want or feel like doing what I needed to do to get in shape. I did get a lot of unsolicited advice from slimmer friends and my mom. I accepted the advice, but continued to do what I wanted. I knew…

I can't agree with you more. I am learning so much everyday just by looking at the numbers. Sometimes I say I'm not going to post something, but I know I need to face the facts. Seeing the numbers is what helps me to make better choices. I am nowhere near perfect, but I'm much better than last year.

Love your thought. I was thinking the same.

Wow, you're body shaped has completely changed. You are more even now. Gives me hope!!!

LOL, I'm glad I have eaten already.

Wow, you look great! We're the same height and you are only a year older than me, but I'm at the beginning of "that year". I just lost 15. I'm trying to lose over 100. Motivation!!! Keeping this.

LOL, mine too. You know it's bad when the clothes you thought were huge seem to have shrunk when you put them on. I lost a little and I'm back to my "fat" clothes now. Next goal is to make these sizes disappear from my closet forever.
