Personally I cant lose weight at 1700 calories. I would say everything works differently for everyone. I have been on depo for 3 years and never gained a pound from it, but most women will tell you they gained so much from it. Its something you might just need to play around with and see whats best for you.

you have one of the best tasting protein out there! But i would never ever ever mix it with water.. oh gross!! lol . I use skim milk or almond milk and add some fruit or some natural peanut butter!

THe calories burnt is usually not accurate, the best thing to do is to get a HRM so you know what your burning off so you dont over eat. Personally I dont eat my workout calories, sometimes ill dip into them but I cant lose weight that way, but you are allowed to eat them according to MFP.

Do you normally do strength training in the gym? If not, that is probably why, carrying around and doing the stuff your doing is more like lifting weights and not cardio so working your muscles, which explains why your sore.

I tried a few Optifast products and they were standable with taste but I was NOT full at all!!! I would not waste the money on that, get a gym membership and some healthy food!

i am always tired after I work out. Nothing helps except sleep. I have just learn to live with it.. I cant lose weight without working out!

Well I promise you mine changed. I wanted to lower my calorie goal and this is how I did it. Nothing else changed.

Excersise goal does inpact my calorie goal. At first I had i would excercise 45 minutes for 5 days a week and I was allowed more calories then when I changed it to 45 minutes for 3 days a week. Not by much, only about 30 calories, but it did change.

if your sugar is coming from fruits dont really worry about it.

have you checked out lapbandtalk.com ... you will get a lot more thoughts on this subject. I have had three fills already as i still would never be able to only eat 600 cals. thats crazy.

Who told you to stay at 600 till your fill? I really worry about some surgeons. I was told NOT TO WORRY AT ALL about my calorie intake during my recovery time. If your daughter is anything like me, she can read things about water until she is blue in the face and nothing will change. I dont like water and I dont drink much of it. I have tried and it lasts about 2-3 days, never any longer. I really do wish I could drink more but it just never happends no matter what I try.

That might work for a bit or for someone really overweight, but with only 20 pounds to lose you might need to switch to heathly foods, if your not already eating them.

Personally I cant eat my exercise calories. I also have to stay under by about 200-300 calories that MFP suggests I eat. I did hit a plataue once but I am out of it now and I did not do it by upping my calories. I eat every three hours and just try to make the best choices i can. It has worked for me.

I have had mine tested about 6 months ago. But when I eat what is recommended for me I dont lose weight.
