  • The way it works in our house is I will cook the meal and you can either eat it or make something yourself. I would never make 2 seperate meals! Teach your son early to eat what's prepared. That's how my parents did it - I had to try a little bit of everything and if I still didn't like it, I could make myself a PB&J…
  • Subway also has Lite Mayo - you have to ask for it and it comes in single serve packets so you can control how much goes on your sandwich!
  • I have started to use Smart Balance instead of butter/margarine in recipes. I use the Smart Balance spray on toast, english muffings, and on the bread to make paninis. My husband hasn't noticed the difference since I switched, and I don't tell him!
  • I am nowhere near a Double D but I have to wear 2 sports bras whenever I do any type of cardio. For strength training/walking I can get away with only one. I go through bras so frequently that I usually purchase the Target bras too!
  • I usually saute any veggies I have with a little EVOO and lemon & pepper seasoning. Yum!

  • I love brats so I hate to give them up. But I found that Turkey Brats are just as good - I can't tell a difference anymore! They still aren't the healthiest, but far healthier than a brat!
  • The yoga ball as a chair is a great idea - but sounds like it didn't work out too well :ohwell: My roommate in college had a chair at her desk that was a yoga ball as the seat, but had a chair frame that it sat in. It had a small back rest, and wheels to move around, but you still strengthened your core by having the ball…
  • Yummy! Can't wait to try this. Thanks for posting - love the pics!
  • Haha, I loved that one too!!
  • LOVE banana and PB DOUBLE LOVE pickles and PB sandwich with a big ol' glass of milk TRIPLE LOVE (unhealthy though) banana and Nutella!! yum! I'm from North Dakota :-)
  • Mmmm, this is making me hungry! These are a few dishes I found that sound yummy and don't look like they contain heavy sauces, creamy cheeses, or dressing. You can't go wrong with grilled seafood! Don't forget to treat yourself a little bit - it is your birthday afterall! Happy Birthday! PARADISE GRILL PLATTER - Grilled…
  • Haha, Jack Daniels...now that's my kind of tip! I'll be sure to follow that one!
  • Thanks for all the tips! We are going camping at a large campsite, but we won't be doing any hiking or running on trails. It is actually for a 3-day outdoor country music festival. So there will be lots of grilling (turkey brats are my new fave!), snacking, and of course beer :drinker: I was thinking of popping some…
  • Your post came at a great time! The budget isn't going so well lately :-( This should help on the grocery end of things! Thanks!
  • I was afraid of that :-(
  • I was wondering the same thing :-) I found this page from an article that may help. http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/low-calorie-cocktails Low-Calorie Cocktails 5 ways to keep from overloading on calories when you have an alcoholic drink. How Many Calories in Popular Cocktails? So just how many calories are in your…
  • I haven't tried Wii Fit but I did recently purchase Wii Active. It is definitely more of a "workout" than games. But you can go in a customize your workout to have it include only the games/sports if you want to. One nice option is that you can select if you want an easy, moderate, or intense workout each time you use it.…

  • I am curious too; I have been doing the P90X+ Interval Workout....any idea how to post that one?
  • I have only used the Interval DVD (I borrowed from a friend) and it is amazing. I have always been active, but it took me 3 or 4 times to be able to complete the workout in its entirety. It has a lot of cool features that keep you going (time clock, progress bar, alert to next move) and I'm drenched in sweat every time I…
