So after she explained she wasn't the one that is brining it into the house the first time around and you restated the same answer over again at a later date and time, so what does that make it?
-
Because anyone eating 900 cals and need to see if they're gaining weight won't. If they want to gain weight they have to eat above their BMR before they begin to put the weight on. anything below a thousand calories only guarantees more weight loss and not weight gain. It's most likely why you were flagged.
-
can I flag your previous post as then why state the obvious?

Her roommate buys the cheese cake.....
-
congrats on the weight loss.

I don't log those meals either, go for a walk in the morning and enjoy the day :)

Ah yes I fell into that trap a few years ago when I broke my ankle. I'm back on track. Considering my weight, I'll be happy with 180.
-
Considering you only have 18 pounds to lose total, you should be focusing on half a pound a week. There's no way you will loose 8 pounds in a month unless you weigh closer to 300... It doesn't work that way.

I meant cake, chocolate, cheesecake, ice cream and cookies ;) That's what I meant by high calories treats that I love. I haven't touched most of the fried foods. I'm afraid they might make me sick now. I don't like chips too much anymore. My last bag was a vending machine and it just didn't taste the same anymore.
-
not anymore they're not. I'm afraid I might have a bad reaction to the grease now. It's been four months since I touched any of that stuff.
-
That's what helped me too. I was beginning to think a lower calorie diet was almost impossible but since I don't consume all those high calorie no nutrient treats, I find it's so much easier to eat all the stuff I love and still lose weight.
-
I think a lot of us can relate to this thread. That's why it turned so long.
-
I can't remember the last time I even touched a chip or had fries, burgers at a fast food joint. It's an addictive habit, easy and convient to eat. Just slowly work towards a goal where you eat them occasionally or not at all anymore. I don't crave chips or pop. I don't crave Burger King, Wendy's or McDonalds stuff anyone.…

maybe but 2 and a half hours apart..... Shrugs

For me I tend to hold onto around six to seven pounds of water weight just by fluxuating hormones every month. I can't trust the scale for around two days to a week. Depends on how much sodium intake I consume during that week. It can be a real pain but high sodium intake and not enough water releasing can lead to instant…

She posted it the same day he made the thread and it was after the fact he stated that he was going to bed soon. That was her reply to it. Not sure why though.

It takes awhile for the cravings to go away. They can get really strong at first but taper off as you eat more fruits, veggies, water, and limit your carb and starch intake. (don't completely get away from it but moderation is the key) Now I find I can't drink pop without getting grossed out, don't crave too many sweets…
-
how can one start now when it's bed time? Just wondering because he's already pointed it out a couple of times.

You're so close to your gw I wouldn't get too discouraged about a pound. For all you know you're carrying an extra pound of water weight. If you haven't thought about it already, I would get into toning with weights and drop half a pound a week. You might want to recheck your numbers. Looks like you're trying to gain…

I find if I don't eat enough for a couple of days, then the weight lost comes back twice as fast as it normally would. I get edgy if I eat below 1400 a day.

baggy 14s means perfectly fitting 12s :) You can walk into a store and grab a pair and try it on in the fitting room. No one has to know how they look on you unless you want them too. Just go for it ;)
-
now I definately want to drop some more and these jeans are making think yup still have a long way too go. Dropping down the next size I find encourages you too keep going instead of getting comfortable in that same size you've been wearing 40 pounds ago.

I really like the one pair jeans I have and I am thinking about altering them to a smaller size. I have a friend who knows how to take them down a couple of notches and I have a sewing machine. Maybe I can learn : I didn't really want to spend the money and I didn't spend a lot of money on the tops. I really could use a…

I can't wait until I'm down into a size 34 waist again. It feels great just getting back into the size 45 The other two sizes make me want to cringe. I have a pair of pants that's a size 34 just waiting for me to squeeze back into them. I bought them and six months later, I could no longer fit into them and I kept gaining…

Last year I went shopping with my sister and she was insistent I try on a 24 but I knew it was too small at the time and was embarrassed about it. She's working hard to get the weight off too. I left an email to my family telling them I was down another size and I know she's going to want to pull me into the nearest…
-
I was pretty thrilled when I tried them on. My mental state needs a complete readjustment because when I was growing up I would always go to the next size as if knowing I was going to gain that weight in advance. Not a good thinking strategy at all.

I was about to ask the same thing How much water are you drinking per day? dehydration can be mistaken for hunger...

thats' good to hear, hope it works out better for him now :)
