Thought I'd check in here too, like Beej. Last week: 146.4 This week: 144.6 Minutes: 222 This gets me down to a healthy BMI, yay! Finally. Also since I've got to this bmi place I've told myself from the get go this is when I stop weighing myself so much. I will weigh myself next week (end of the phase of the work out I'm…

Day 47 for me, just over the halfway mark! I'm avoiding work out eight right (week 7) now haha so I thought I'd check in here. I basically went over all of this in my latest blog post but here's some numbers and progress for everyone: Current Weight: 145.2lbs. Starting Weight of the BR: 151lbs. --- I actually got up to 153…

Congrats on the new job Molly! That's fantastic. I'm another person struggling with the sugars here. I never realized how much of it was in everything, this has been real eye opening for me. Yesterday I had 90g of sugar. 90! Although somehow 58grams were from my banana, raspberries, grapes, greek yogurt, whole wheat…

Haha I love this about a heart rate monitor. I was that way too. It was awful, I couldn't barely breathe and I'd be jogging at a slow pace wondering why. Think I'll be going for the big five NEWTs for 60 minutes of cardio tomorrow, that's my usual cardio day along with Saturday. My normal cardio is just a work out video…

Thought I'd say hello to everyone and finally introduce myself. I've been creeping this group for a while and am now committed to EM2WL (unless you know, in the future it stops working for me.) Right so I've been trying to lose since about November. I ate only 1300 calories that month and lost 8lbs. I was ecstatic but…

I found this article really interesting, raises a lot of good points. Diet is related to mental health, it shouldn't be denied but it is. For example, when I was diagnosed with anemia all the symptoms I had that I thought was an indication of depression turned out to be mostly because of the anemia - anemia symptoms can…

Suzie, congrats! That's amazing, well done! Can't wait until tomorrow when the challenge is back on, yay! I'm hoping to get down to a healthy BMI ultimately for my goal next month at 145lbs but I do want to lose 5lbs next month which should be around 142lbs if the scale was right the other day - weighing in tomorrow for…

I didn't get to 145 but weighed in at 147 the other day, so six pounds is still awesome!

Thighs and butt, unfortunately. Ugh.

Just wondering, since you're a student - what about your school gym? Mine comes included in my tuition so "it's free" sort of and it is a great place with all the modern stuff and the pool sauna. If you're school has one, maybe check it out? I'd probably stay if it was me. Sounds like you're really comfortable there and…

I'm not really of the "just do it" thing either, especially in a support thread. It's like to me the person couldn't even think of something creative or personally tailored to the person's issue to say, they're just copying some logo of a big name in sports and hoping that comes off as inspiration and also raising their…

Sorry for the lack activity on here. This week has been busy as I've started a new job and I still have summer school on top of that. Just added all my NEWTs, OWLs, and exercise minutes to the spreadsheet though, that's all caught up. Hope everyone's doing well and that any Yanks on here are enjoying their Memorial Day…

Oh okay, gotcha! Still quite the newbie, wasn't sure how it was working but that totally makes sense. Thanks :3 That's a great average, ahh that's awesome! That's not just probably okay, that's great. Honestly I've had months where it didn't move at all (mainly because I gained all my old habits back) so that steady rate…

I've been a bit lousy for posting this week, sorry everyone. Congrats BeeJ on the loss! That's amazing! Perhaps though too the extra meals helped reset your metabolism a bit too? Sometimes when people stall/plateau I see people recommending eating more/or eating normally for a week or two and that's supposed to help, with…

A slight modification I did for the hollowman originally was to keep my arms down. It made a big difference to me, made it easier, and by the fourth work out I could hold the real move for almost the whole thing. Like this: Help me a lot! If you're still struggling with it, try putting your hands under your butt. For some…

Favourite pie, right here: French apple pie from a local dessert place. A la mode of course. Not only is it the only pie I like, it's the only place I like getting my pie from. And thankfully I only order a slice every six months or so or I would eat a whole plate daily if I could make it myself.

Just got an unplanned swim in! If only that was this weeks challenge, haha. I'm not going to deny it team, I'm absolutely awful at this stretching thing. I just don't have the effort plus from what I heard from my physiotherapist, I'm not really supposed to as I'm hyperflexible and it does more harm then good for me -…

I find it most helpful to remember what/why I'm doing this. For my health. To live a long life with the man I love. To decrease weight/stress on my knee. To better my odds against my family's history of heart disease. That's reason enough for me to keep going. I didn't want to work out today but honestly, those things work…

So much good news in here! Congrats on the twins skinnysuzie and also the golden anniversary BeeJ! And for the prefect stuff, that's awesome! (Although I'm new I still get that it's a good thing, yay being prefect right?)
-
Also wondering about this too! :3 I was afraid of bringing it up though haha. Bought a food scale today and I've just had my first meal with it - makes such a difference! I have been really overestimating how much chicken I've been eating, apparently. Yay for accuracy, I just want to have better ideas because it looks like…

She's a very (silent) strong woman. I think of it like looking at Sarah Connor and Catelyn Stark - she's not Sarah Connor in the kickass strong way but strong in the mental burdens Catelyn had to bear (although Sarah Connor had her share of them too obviously.) I love my mom, she honestly is the best and did a great job…

Yikes, this is going to be a real challenge for me. I'm just not a fan of stretching but I'll do it for the OWLs, for the team! XD I'm not sure if I'll be weighing in tomorrow. I've just started my shark week, overate the other night in a craze of lady time craziness, and definitely have some extra bloat going on. But I…

Fantastic! The fact that there is a group for Doctor Who fans on here is what makes the internet/mfp brilliant

I called Jillian a b*tch last night. Felt good. Yes, it hurt but in a good way - the work out was challenging me. The move in particular? From work out three (I don't remember the name) it was the ab move you do on your back with shoulders and legs raised. It was later in the video and it was hard, that's all I remember XD
-
haha I approve of that idea! I always try to keep other goals in mind - from what I've seen of internet weight loss groups (say on tumblr) sometimes it just seems like there's focus too much on what the scale says and people forget to think about their mind. Got to keep a little sane and remember it's just as important to…

Wow, great work on the step bench! That is so awesome, I love that you "climbing" Mount Everest. It sounds like a good goal to have. Also good to see that the half pound blip worked out :D I like that challenge a lot, I sort of wish it was ours XD If this procrastination thing could be anything I'd probably say finish this…

Awe Jenn that sounds really awesome, I hope your garden works out! The neighbours don't matter, a garden is the best! Your son sounds really cute too, grow a salad haha Start of a new week! I had a bad weekend but I've learned. There's going to be down parts but I can pick myself back up again. We can all do this :)
-
I don't have time to update or read everyone's notes right now but I got my regular work out plus an extra hour or so! I went on a lovely walk with a friend today. Ahhh she's still here, gotta go! Hope everyone's do well :3

I never thought about looking on kijiji for a wii, that's a great idea! I would love to have one, it'd be a lot of fun, but ugh at this time I'm going to have to wait until I get a summer job. Still waiting! Soon though, that'd be great to join that mfp group, sounds like a wonderful idea. Ouch! @BMcC9! That's a killer…

I tried eating back/getting to that net goal for a while but when I did, I just wasn't losing the weight and it was frustrating me. Instead I've moved onto eating about 1600 calories a day. 1200 is far too few for me, I'd feel too hungry, be weak, my work outs would suffer, and I'd be more likely to binge eventually. When…
