  • that happens to me quite frequently. Mine is caused by having the shower water and bathroom too warm. It triggers a vagal nerve response in me and I have to turn the water to cool or cold for a minute to feel better then when I get out of the shower I have to just dry myself and go lay down for a few minutes. It's possible…
  • you need 1200 NET calories per day. So eat 1200 plus whatever you burn in exercise. Good luck!
  • that's incredibly cruel! I know that harsh words like that can really stick with you for a long time. I've experienced my fair share. Hang in there girl!
  • I bought two really cute ones from Bass Pro Shops. Not terribly expensive ($80 total for two tops and two bottoms) and they are cute and very flattering!
  • Tilapia with Mrs. Dash seasoning. It's super yummy and very low in calories and sodium.
  • If I understand correctly, you said you were eating less than 1200 calories for at least a year? That would have KILLED your metabolism which will cause your body to hold onto every little bit of food you take in for reserves. Give it a good solid two to three weeks of eating correctly. Once your body realizes it's not…

  • I bought the a Polar Ft60 from amazon. LOVE it~
  • I just bought this one http://www.amazon.com/Omron-Full-Sensor-Composition-Monitor/dp/B0020MMCDE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1309747801&sr=8-2 and I LOVE it! You want one that measures from feet through your hands that way it's measuring your whole body fully. This one even measures your visceral fat (the fat you can't see…
  • My first goal is 150-152 because I have a larger frame. I might try to drop down to 140-145 but that would be the lowest I will go because otherwise I look just way too thin and start to look sick.
  • I just bought an Omron body composition calculator/scale to help analyze this. Unless you get something that measures body fat and visceral fat and everything correctly (whole body not just from foot to foot) or go to a doctor to get everything analyzed any calculation you do online will be just a rough estimate.
  • remember also that one day of bad eating will not undo a whole week of great work. Make sure you don't restrict yourself from any foods. If you want pizza eat pizza. Just try to get into the habit of doing a little workout, even if it's just 15-20 minutes, BEFORE you eat what you want to eat. You'll burn a little extra…
  • I don't know how much a stone is either but if you want support you can add me too
  • you may be eating too little for your body to function properly. Try ( I know this sounds counterproductive) adding an extra 100 calories to you daily allotment. Try that for a few weeks and see if it works. Your body may be in starvation mode even with eating the extra calories. And remember that if you are already small…
  •    way too funny! I've see that too many times too!
  • ok so I went in and did a calories burned during normal daily activity calculation and came up with 3029. I can't believe that this is right...Then I used the BMR VS RMR calculations for sedentary and light activity life styles and those came up with 1900-2200 calories burned per day. I guess maybe I'll just set my daily…

  • My RMR is actually what I would burn in a 24 hours period, at my current weight, if I were to do nothing but lie in bed. "BMR and RMR are estimates of how many calories you would burn if you were to do nothing but rest for 24 hours. They represent the minimum amount of energy required to keep your body functioning,…

  • the only things I don't count in my calories are foods that take more calories to digest than they actually contain. The only two foods I know of like this right now are celery and cucumbers (plain of course) If I eat anything with them then I do count that.
  • I'm in Phoenix near South Mountain. Feel free to add me if you want!

  • agree entirely! right down to the mother is an RN thing.
  • agreed! It took me a few weeks to get everything just right and start losing. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water too! It helps
  • you may need to eat a little something extra or divide your lunch into two meals. I get the same way in the afternoons and it's because my blood sugar peeks then drops very low. When it gets low I get really sick to my stomach. Before I figured to split my lunch into two meals about an hour and half apart I would be full…

  • http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/body-fat-percentage-calculator has a decent calculator for BF% it seems way more accurate than the one you used. The first one told me I have a BF% of 26% and this one tells me I'm closer to 34% (which I know is more accurate)
  • AGREED!
  • yes. yes I do. I keep my dogs off their yard so I fully expect them to keep their dogs off of my yard. and IF it were to happen then I would expect the owner of the dog to clean it up immediately.
  • I went to their website but it doesn't have anything listed. It says they are working on developing it. I'll ask if they have a hard copy at the restaurant when I get there...hopefully they'll have one.
  • that's a good idea. I didn't even think to look up a different restaurant's calories for something similar! thank you!
  • you're looking wonderful!! truly and inspiration
  • oh! and I HATE HATE HATE artichokes! Disgusting!
