  • WOW! Girl you look fantastic!! I say go for the bikini... I think it'll be a wise investment!
  • My hubby had both his eyes done (at the same time) by LASIK. When he went he opted for the procedure called Zyoptic (or something like that) it was slightly more expensive but had better stats as far as halo's go. My DH also had Coke bottle glasses for years, picture Mr. Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys. He said that the…
  • Hi Jomicikey! I'd love to join the group! No change on the scale for me this week... still 233lbs. I think I need to change up the exercise routine ~ I've been at a plateu now for a couple of weeks. Thanks Jay! You know I could really notice it on you too... then when I got on here and seen you were down a couple more…
  • Hey Jay! I'm just bumping this so it'll be in My Topics for when I get home.... Fingers crossed that the Easter Bunny was nice to me... I was really good at avoiding ALL things chocolate!! :noway:
  • I lost quite a bit in the begging - I'd say within the first 4 weeks I lost 9lbs (I have it set to loose 1lb per week). I knew alot of it was water weight, but who cares as long as it's falling off right! I've hit a bit of a plateau now that I've hit the 20lbs lost mark; so now I'm working on changing up the exercise…
  • Welcome back! I have only been a member for a few months, but I found for me the most important part of this journey, was NOT sacrificing the foods I love. I made a point of taking recipes and foods I loved to eat, and finding a healthier version of those foods. Every once in a while I will let my self indulge in the real…
  • Yes you are supposed to eat your exercise calories ~ I often don't eat all of them back but always at least 50% of them. I've been lucky and have lost 22lbs since January  I'm at a bit of a plateau right now, but eating the exercise calories does seem to work. Welcome and good luck on your journey.
  • That's FANTASTIC!! I'm hoping that this nice weather - and the extra walks with the dog - will help me get over the plateau I've been at for about 3 weeks.
  • For your chocolate kick what about a Fat Free Jello pudding... or those Dairy Milk Crisps that are only 100 cals. Chip wise I'm fan of the Rice Works chips - You get 10 chips for about 190 cals. I'm also big into hot air-popped popcorn (no salt or butter) & pretzels (usually unsalted)
  • Congrats Ladies! I'm hoping to join you soon... DH and I have been TTC for 17 months ~ I'm hoping with the weight I've been loosing will be enough to make a difference! :blushing:
  • 1) I want to be a mother more than anything else right now; the fact that it hasn't happened in 17 months is killing me :ohwell: 2) I can't help checking my reflection in every mirror I pass... and can't stop talking about the weight I've already lost; even though I keep dwelling on how much more I have to loose. 3) I feel…
  • We got our Wii Fit for Christmas and I LOVE it  Since I started using it in December (along with aqua fit classes twice a week) I've lost 14lbs. The last 10lbs has been since joining MFP too. A great combination... you get out of it what you put in... so it depends on how hard you push yourself! P.S. The hoola-hoops…

  • Hi everyone! My name is Tasha and I heard about this site from a couple friends of mine. I made it my goal for 2009 (not a resolution, but a goal) to loose 20lbs and keep it off this year! My husband and I are trying to start a family, and I know that loosing this weight will help me maintain a healthy pregnancy, after I…
