Is it possible that the harsh comments (and 'porn kick') are driven more from the miscarriage than the weight gain? A miscarriage is hard on both parties (usually) and perhaps he's afraid of getting you pregnant again just to loose the baby again. I'm not at all trying to excuse them - they are harsh - but speaking as…

Fantastic job - and you look gorgeous ~ before and after!

I'm a 29 year old mother of 2 beautiful little girls (2yr & 10months) and have a lot of weight to lose. I started on MFP back in 2009 and was able to successfully lose 47lbs and became pregnant with my first baby. Within 6 months of her arrival I was able to lose all the baby weight I put on plus an additional 5lbs - just…

To be at my "ideal body weight" I have 100lbs to loose... to be at MY ideal (for now) I have around 50-60lbs to loose. I started out at 262lbs (5' 5") a few years ago - lost 47lbs (using MFP) before getting pregnant with my first baby. Lost all the baby weight and an extra 5lbs within 6 months; just in time to get pregnant…

Thanks for this! Something that's so totally easy to do - and with 2 babies (one 30lbs & the other 20lbs) I have varying weights! :-)

I walked off 47lbs before getting pregnant with my first baby - and then walked off all my baby weight plus an extra 5lbs after my first baby! Baby #2 is now 8 months old and the weather is turning warmer... time to walk off the baby weight again!

I'm right there with you! I have 2 little girls - almost 2 years & 8 months. So life is busy! I used MFP before I got pregnant with my first and successfully lost 47lbs. After DD1 came I was good about getting my motivation back and lost all my baby weight +5lbs by the time she was 6 months old. Now that DD2 is here I seem…

Hello everyone, My name's Tasha, I'm 28 and the proud Mommy of two little girls. I've been a member of MFP for a few years now; and used it to successfully loose 52 lbs before getting pregnant with my first and to loose all the baby weight by the time she was 6 months old. Now that baby number two is here and I'm finding…

I get it - I totally get it... I'm addicted to before and after photos; makes me want to work hard for my own. I used MFP a couple years ago to loose 52lbs. I felt fantastic and like I had lost "my ugly!" Two years and two babies later I'm struggling to find the drive and commitment I had back then - my shallow…

I don't know but because it is it is one of my mini rewards. One day I will fit into Lululemon!!

Welcome to MFP! I too just had a baby in July and have been VERY slow at getting back to exercise. I used MFP about 2 years ago to help me loose 47 pounds, just before I became pregnant with my first. I was diligent after her and was able to loose all the baby weight plus another 5 pounds in 6 months - thanks to MFP...…

Hey Mommy's ~ I'm new to the board but not MFP. I lost 55lbs with the help of MFP in the past but have just had baby #2 and am wanting to start watching what I eat again (quantity mostly). I have a friend getting married in February and I'd love to have lost all the baby weight by then; I was able to do it in 6 months with…

I didn't see one either - I just wanted to note that I probably won't be around for the weigh-in next week either but will be back the week following. Wishing everyone much success!

You know I've heard good and bad things about met - my RE opted not to put me on it because she didn't think it would help our odds, yet she did put a friend of mine on it. I know for my friend it really hasn't had the desired affect on her cycles either. Glad to hear that you might be able to do IUI (or au' natural) -…

Hi Pam, how did your physical and appointment with your fertility clinic go last week?
-
Up 0.7lbs - guess not getting in all my water everyday & the few 'extra' cookies I indulged in at the kids Christmas party caught up to me... here's to a better week this week! :drinker:

Pam, sounds to me that if the surgery worked liked it's supposed to you guys just might be good to try IUI! I have 2 friends that are also textbook PCOS and their RE's are letting them try IUI or a Super Ovulation cycle. Oh I hope it worked!! I'll have everything crossed for you and hope that you get fantastic news in the…

Morning Canucks! Another great week for me - last week I was 204.8 and this week 202.6 - so a loss of 2.2lbs!! It's crazy to think how close I am to goal #1 (under 200lbs); hoping I can achieve at least that by Christmas ~ Christmas party season is starting up so hopefully I can make smart choices but I'm so looking…

Welcome back! I'm Canadian too - Saskatchewan - and am part of a weekly group called Crazy Canucks. We check-in every Wednesday with the "Crazy Canucks - date" heading under Motivation and Support.

Do you know what restaurant your Mom plans on ordering the food from? If so I'd try to look up their menu, most restaurants list the nutritional information online now (might be harder with Chinese food). Both MFP and the other website could be right - like laddyboy said it totally depends on the recipe used, the portion…

Welcome and Congratulations!! I used this site before, during and now after my pregnancy (my DD is 6 months old). In these last 6 months I've already lost the 30lbs I gained during my pregnancy - the support and tools are wonderful. Hopefully the next 5 weeks pass by quickly for you - I remember the end feeling like…

I wouldn't go below the 1200 calories daily. When I first started with MFP they advised I ate like 1900 calories daily - I tried to keep it between 1500-1700. The more weight I've lost the 'less' I was to eat and have been at the 1200 calories for a while now - I'm still losing (and I'll admit I don't exercise nearly…

Hey ladies... it's Friday! YEAH!! How's everyone's week ending? I've done really well so far with the mini-goals - drinking my 6 glasses of water and logging in everyday!! I also stepped on the scale just "to see" how the last couple of days have been weight-wise. Scale was friendly  Looks like I'm only…

Oh man... I'm trying this over the weekend!! I too am a milkshake lover!!

I agree with Vickiele - sun dresses can look cute paired with a nice cardigan and some tights!
