Hello all. I am new to this website, but definitely not new to weight loss and dieting. I am a long time Weight Watcher and several years ago, I lost 70 lbs, just to gain it all back the last 3 years after I met the love of my life. We were married in March and got pregnant on our honeymoon. So, pregnant at 230lbs was not how I pictured it, but I am super happy to be having a baby. I am already up to 260 (I still have about 5 more weeks to go before baby). At my last appointment, my OB finally said something about my weight. She suggested I try this sight just to track what I am eating and be more mindful. She obviously doesnt want me dieting, but just to keep track of everything I am putting in. So far, I think the sight is great. Like I said before, I have done the WW thing and used their website and this seems very similar and convenient.
So, good luck to all out there. I hope to stay the same for the next few weeks and then after baby continue to be part of this sight to lose, lose, lose!! I would love to get back to pre-husband weight of 160!!

Welcome to MFP and CONGRATS on your soon to be bundle of joy!! :-) This is definitely the place to be when you want to be mindful of what is going past your teeth!! LOL! And the people here are AMAZING! I've found this site to be even better than WW because #1 - it's free!! and #2 it's support WHENEVER you need it! Best of luck to you! Your goal of 160 after baby comes is definitely attainable! Check out the success stories message boards - there are loads of people here who have lost over 100 lbs - and you can, too!! :-)0

Welcome and Congratulations!! I used this site before, during and now after my pregnancy (my DD is 6 months old). In these last 6 months I've already lost the 30lbs I gained during my pregnancy - the support and tools are wonderful. Hopefully the next 5 weeks pass by quickly for you - I remember the end feeling like forever!!0
