Highest weight was 312 Weight before child birth was 302 - I was feeling really really miserable at that time I'd be ecstatic if I got down to 160 really, but have lost 115 lbs so far. • Clearly this chat string has been taken to another level...i sense there's a little 9-1/2 Weeks going on here =) BUT...to keep on original topic Healthiest: Greek yogurt, kale, tomatoes, blackberries, fat free feta cheese, etc. Un-healthy: Vanilla buttercream frosting - homemade

  • Okay, so you don't want to eat pizza dough...Depending on the service of your local pizza place some can be very accommodating to your dietary needs. Make sure you call ahead so you don't get disappointed when you sit at a table and try to order. How about trying to order 1 meatball without sauce, and request to have have…
  • Hmm I haven't had any lately, but have done this...have 'mock deviled eggs'. One hard boiled egg split in half. I tablespoon on each side of the the Trader Joe's brand Lowfat Spinach & Kale Yogurt Dip, some Fat Free Feta Cheese on top of that, and a sprinkle of black pepper. Yum. Here's a pic of it (hope it works):
  • How about finding a creamy low fat/fat free dressing you like and then adding reduced fat blue cheese crumbles to it? I like Sunny Select brand Reduced Fat Blue Cheese Crumbles. Per 1oz (or about 1/4 cup) it's 80 calories, and still quite yummy.
  • love reading the success stories on here... as for me...I'm celebrating my new profile pic (big grins)!
  • I used to just 'march in place' but I now go up and down the stairs in my house and at work (I work on the 5th floor) so it's definitely a workout plus seems a bit more harder than getting on the elliptical machine. Try going up and down the stairs for 15 minutes straight, your legs will burn!
  • My version of a simple Egg Drop Soup: - 1 can low sodium chicken broth - 1 slice or two of fresh ginger (to flavor the broth) - whisk 1 egg in a bowl - allow broth to come to a boil then bring the heat down to medium or medium/low then slowly pour the whisked egg into the pot. If you wish to add veggies (or other…
  • What you have done so far is an amazing feat in itself! You can continue on and you can do it! Thanks for sharing =)
  • Dude...that was an awesome video you put together!
  • How about having it as a Calcium Citrate chewable? the brand was 'Healthy Indulgence' and I used to eat these 3 times a day daily when I couldn't bear the large pills. They taste just like dark chocolate and I don't think I had any chocolate cravings for a while when I had these. I used to find these in the Vitamin…
  • Definitely have your support system in place...seeing food around me after surgery made me feel sort of left out and it was really hard to to cope with the reality that I couldn't eat the same things I loved in the months right after surgery. It was emotional for me, but I had to find my own ways to cope. I hope your…

  • congrats on your successful journey...you look amazing =)
  • Gosh...I read this post and I swear you and I are on the same wave length with the wrinkle situation. I've dropped a large amount of weight this year and recently noticed that my face looks a lot older to me than it did last year. I see my face in pictures and I see those more pronounced wrinkles too. Needless to say I've…
  • And you look a lot younger too! Thanks for sharing...

  • Wow, you 30ish and 40ish people look pretty fab to be at your age! Very inspiring! Just turned 44 last Friday, but don't feel it! Add me if you'd like =)
  • Up to last year I had many food binges, simply because of the larger stomach that I had, and the constant thinking of what I would have at my next foodie opportunity. Any fast food eating was a binge, AND at buffets. I also had an obsession with mayonnaise, it tasted good with almost everything I ate. All these in one…
  • You look VERY FAB girl...congratulations!
  • Hi lby226 -- congrats on getting a date! Exciting time for sure! From experience hunger was a serious issue for me when I started the pre-op diet. Keep a water container handy at all times, everywhere you go. And as other posters have shared, test out some protein shakes that you may like -- although do not buy too many in…
  • Your Quote! "My biggest, #1 tip: This does not need to be a miserable experience. In fact, if you make it miserable, I don't see it lasting. Live the healthiest life you can enjoy. For me, an enjoyable life includes chocolate, craft beer, and pizza - not every day, of course, but often enough that I don't feel deprived or…
  • That is an awesome achievement and thanks for sharing your success!
  • How about outfit #1, with some cute black flat shoes. That way you'll look hawt & be comfortable =)
  • I've been experiencing the same thing everyday...I am always COLD 8=/ ... I now have a space heater under my desk at work and I now am wearing sweaters, something I never used to do. You may want to check your Iron level perhaps? You've come a long way! And have fabulous results, congratulations!
  • I like croutons...because of the crunch, and 5 of them is 30 calories. Also Laughting Cow Light, Creamy Swiss wedges, they are 35 calories each - just bought a whole stack of them at Costco ;)
