  • SUCCESS! 99.4kg (219 pounds) on September 28 96.7kg (213 pounds) on October 27 and I reached my halfway goal this month too! Am celebrating with a few days holiday at my best friends place so will probably need to kick it up a notch for a November challenge :)
  • Ooh 'there's an app for that' of course there is!! Downloaded the app and did the ititial test just now (modified pushups not 'goodform' ones) and could only manage 5! Thought I'd have more strength than that! Will check in on Monday to see where we all started :)
  • These hoopers are awesome! I bought a proper hoop 12 months ago but am still unable to use it!!
  • After seeing my arms wobble this morning, I'm totally in! Will start on Monday and do the same schedule, M/W/F. Hope I can do more than one to start with! :)
  • i would feel the same way when i was at w3 so i'd add a 60sec run at the end of the last walk but before the cool down just to push myself that little bit more. now that i'm at w5 (it took me about 6 weeks to get from W3 to W5 btw) i'm having to stretch alot more so i build that into my workout time too by stretching after…

  • i run outside at the foreshore near my house. i love getting out since i spend all day in the office and its lovely to see the sun set over the ocean! last week though i did my run in the streets around home for the first time and started by doing the warm up 5 minutes on my elliptical machine (which has sadly been…

  • We did w2d1 again tonight. Just to be sure we're ready for the longer run sections. Felt good!! Hoping to get new running shoes this weekend too! Anything to make the k's go by faster :)
  • They say running gets things moving so I guess it's bound to happen to some of us :)
  • I'm petrified of that happening to me Sherri! So I've plotted our runs so they go past two very clean new public bathrooms!!!
  • Did c25k w2d3 this afternoon. It was sunny and warm enough to go out without a jumper. Felt pretty good till the last run section where my shins started to ache a little. Got Keith to roller them and am going to have a good long soak in the tub to heal up... Contemplating w2 repeat just to be sure we're physically ready…
  • Hi all! Finished W2D1 tonight. Feeling good! On track for the Rottnest Island 5km run in October! Anyone else got a 5km run scheduled for Week11?
  • Ah, cool. I study event management so conferences of all kinds are interesting to me :)
  • Albury/wodonga is a lovely part of Australia Tammy! What was the conference for? I'm a week late starting due to some seriously awful pelvic pain last week. My boyfriend and I did W1D1 tonight, 3.6kms, 31min (incl 5min w/up + 5min c/down) along our local beach after I got home from work. Was a beautiful sunset tonight and…

  • Hi Tammy! I'm thinking of starting the C25K in the next week or so because there is a 5km run on Rottnest Island here in Western Australia at the end of October. • i've been trying to keep snacks at 100calories each and have found nutella 20g single serves to be pretty satisfying, just have to make sure i only take one with me to work :) the other snack i love at the moment is rye cruskits spread with avocado and cracked pepper.
  • Fantastic progress!!! Can't wait till I get to that milestone! Congratulations!!
  • A friend is sending me her copy so hopefully I'll start in a few days! What size weights does everyone start with? I just realised I only have my boyfriends 'bag of sand' weights at home and that just wont work :)
  • I think I need to find a copy of this shred DVD! Sounds like a great workout and community activity :)
  • I've been using Free the Apps "Convert Units" app on my itouch to do the kj-cal conversion and found it really useful.
  • I'll be your friend if you'll be mine :) I'm in Perth these days and find it really hard to find people with similar goals for weight loss and healthy eating. I'm new to MFP and really interested in the support forum as I need a little pushing every now and then! Cheers, Charm
