New Mexico...from that town people think aliens crashed at 50 something years ago.

Get rid of them! The really nice ones, give them to a charity that will benefit women trying to get back in the workforce. There are shelters that help abused women get back on their feet and they need nice professional clothing. Not only will you be helping them, but you'll help yourself knowing you helped another woman…

Hi all! I'm going to friend you guys because I'm the same. I've been on for a whle but have just been logging my meals. I HAVE to lose 25 pounds..it's not a choice anymore. I sabotage myself, but I'll be supportive to you. Thanks!

First of all, make sure it's not a medical problem. As for me, I take Flaxseed daily. That helps but when things get "slow" I like to drink LaxaTea by Celestial. It's gentle and hasn't caused cramping. It also tastes good. You can find it in the tea isle at most grocery stores. Watch out for some diet teas...they can give…

I'm a late day eater so I take my pill around 10:00 after I've eaten something. I don't get so quesy if I take it with food. Maybe that might help.

I'm in my 50's, my doctor told me 1200 calories and at least 30 minutes of exercise. The first two weeks I did as I was told and lost 8 pounds....we won't discuss what I've done since...that's why I'm glad I found this team...I'm pumped and ready to lose again.

I've taken this pill off and on for years. It's always the first week that I have a headache and I get a little moody...not crybaby but grumpy. After that, it goes away. Are you taking the pill in the morning? On an empty stomach?

I just saw this article on the internet. I'm going to ask my doctor about it when I see him in a couple of weeks. I've taken Phentermine before and it's worked. It's me and my emotional eating that puts the weight back on. Is anyone going to try this new pill?
-
Hi! I've used these pills off and on for the last 15 years. I'm currently on them again because my doctor wants me to lose a minimum of 25 pounds. These work well for me for about 3 months and then nothing. The most I ever lost taking these was 30 pounds in three months. I had energy so I was walking/running 3 miles…

I don't put a whole lot of stock into Dr. Oz but I have taken African Mango and it worked for me. I lost 5 pounds the first week and then two pounds a week for the next two weeks. I had to quit taking them because of a non-related health issue but once I have that taken care of, I'll probably take them again as a "booster"…

Life has a way of changing plans...I hope your three-year-old is ok. I remember those trips to the emergency room...not fun. Take care and don't worry about the challanges. As a team, I'm sure we can put together something. Are you ready for that team members? Let's help out FatFreeKandee. This is our responsibility…

I like this one..doing this during Americas got talent.

This is my biggest challange too. When I crave ice cream, I like the Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches...I believe they are 140 calories. If I have to have something sweet/real sugar, I'll eat the Kraft chocolate flavored marshmallows 4 are 100 calories. If I'm being good and my willpower is good, I'll eat fruit. Good luck!

Working on it. This is just as tuff as it was last week!

Hi there...you can add me as a friend. I don't want to discourage you because this is not what this group is about, but your goals are set high. It's also not healthy. Take it from me, I've yo-yo'd dieted for 20 years now and I always fall off the wagon or end up discouraged and it's all because I want results NOW! I mean,…

Wow...this is intense. Those are my dream abs though!

I'm glad this was set up in four sets. I'm so out of shape, but I'm getting better. I also had to do wall pushups. I have no upper body strength and I didn't want to end up with my face in the carpet...I can't wait for tomorrows challange...after my hour, I watched America's Got Talent, I went to sit outside and visit with…

Going for my walk now. I don't know about the reverse crunches, but I'll try. Thanks for keeping me motivated ladies! I had a Monday and wanted to just veg when I got home, but I read how you stuck with the plan and I got my butt off the couch and put my shoes on.

Great idea Debsxxx! I took a picture of me and my 8 year old grandson. He weighs 68 pounds and I need to lose at least 70 pounds. I got a picture of me trying to hold him (he's heavy!) and then one with him on my back...talk about an eye opener...this gave me an idea of how much extra weight I'm carrying. Believe me, I'm…

I thought so, but I'm such a bad dieter I wanted to make sure. I tend to cheat and change the rules to fit what I want. LOL I got these drink tabs at the fitness store. The guy there told me these are better and lower in calories than Gatoride. Thank you!

a pint of rocky road..it was soooo good. I can't keep that type of ice cream in the house...I'll finish the half gallon in two days. :blushing:

Hi and welcome. You are young and you can do this. Check the different groups and find one that fits your interests. That really helps when you can click with the members on there. Be patient...take it a day at a time. Also what's working for me this time, is I'm not looking at the total I want to lose ( 80 pounds). I'm…

I did it! My hips are sore and my calves are tight, but it's a good and actually modivating sore and ache. I stuck to my water too. It's really hot here (100 degrees) so drinking water is easy. Looking forward to tomorrows challange.
-
Did it..I stayed with water all day. I do have a question though..My blood pressure medication has a diuretic (sp) and when I drink a lot of water I'll end up with cramps in my legs and toes. If I add electrolyte enhanced drink tabs, that's not cheating is it? I'll need to do this especially with exercising.

Hufff...huff...huff...puff....huff..puff...whew...I did it...All of it....

Count me in...are we starting tomorrow? ( as I'm drinking my indulgence...Tecate Light - just one :drinker:

Holy cow! 30? okay...I'm ready willing and determined. I love this idea of the daily challange. Kudos to you for a great idea.
-
I didn't want to wait until tomorrow to start. I'm the queen of excuses so after posting my message, I got my shoes on and did a 30 minute walk. Downhill was easy, uphill had me huffing. As James Brown sang, " I feel good"!! I set my alarm for 4:55 to do my 30 minutes in the morning. Thanks for this challange. This is what…

When will be a good time to report in on our challenge status and to see what the next one is? It's really hot where I live so I'm going to try and do my exercise in the morning when it's still cool. Nobody will believe me that I'm getting up at 5:00 a.m. to do this challenge. I am not a morning person. But, like I…

Hi! I'm also looking forward to this. I like the idea of daily challenges. Even better is starting with 30 minutes! Good luck to all of us. I'm pumped!! Whoo Hoo...
